This role provides strategic and operational leadership to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of corporate information assets while maintaining compliance with ISO/IEC 27001, ISO 28000/28001, NIST, regulatory requirements, and customer security obligations.\nThe position works closely with executive leadership, IT, Legal, Human Resources, Operations, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and external auditors to drive continuous improvement of the organization's security posture and resilience. Responsibilities commonly include incident response management, audit preparedness, security engineering oversight, security questionnaires, and compliance activities.\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities:\nInformation Security Program Management\nLead and manage the Information Security Operations team.\nDevelop and execute the organization's information security strategy and roadmap.\nEstablish security policies, standards, procedures, and guidelines.\nMonitor and improve overall security maturity and effectiveness.\nProvide executive reporting and security metrics to senior leadership.\nISO 27001 ISMS Management\nMaintain and continually improve the Information Security Management System (ISMS).\nManage ISO 27001 certification activities, surveillance audits, and recertification audits.\nConduct risk assessments and oversee risk treatment plans.\nEnsure compliance with ISO 27001 controls and applicable regulations.\nCoordinate internal audits, management reviews, and corrective action programs.\nISO 28000 / ISO 28001 Supply Chain Security\nLead implementation and maintenance of supply chain security programs.\nSupport ISO 28000/28001 certification and customer security requirements.\nConduct contract manufacturer and supplier security assessments.\nOversee supply chain risk management and remediation activities.\nCollaborate with procurement, logistics, warehousing, and manufacturing teams to improve security controls.\nSecurity Operations\nOversee Security Operations Center (SOC) activities and monitoring.\nManage security incident response, investigations, and recovery efforts.\nCoordinate cyber incident handling with internal stakeholders and external partners.\nLead threat management, vulnerability management, and remediation programs.\nEnsure effective security monitoring, logging, and detection capabilities.\nGovernance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC)\nManage enterprise risk assessments and security reviews.\nOversee third-party and vendor security risk management.\nSupport customer security assessments and questionnaires.\nEnsure compliance with applicable regulatory, contractual, and security requirements.\nMaintain security policies and procedures and promote organizational compliance.\nSecurity Awareness and Training\nDevelop and maintain security awareness programs.\nConduct phishing simulations and user training initiatives.\nPromote a strong security culture throughout the organization.\nBusiness Continuity and Resilience\nSupport business continuity and disaster recovery planning.\nParticipate in continuity testing and crisis management exercises.\nEnsure security requirements are integrated into continuity planning.\nLeadership and Team Development\nLead, mentor, and develop security professionals.\nManage project prioritization, resource allocation, and budgeting.\nFoster collaboration across business units and global locations.\nQualifications:\n8+ years of information security experience.\n3-5+ years of management or leadership experience.\nHands-on experience with ISO 27001 implementation, certification, and audits.\nExperience with ISO 28000/28001, C-TPAT, or supply chain security programs.\nExperience in incident response, vulnerability management, risk management, and compliance.\nExperience supporting global manufacturing, logistics, or technology environments preferred.\nISO 27001 Lead Implementer.\nISO 27001 Lead Auditor.\nEEO Statement\nSupermicro is an Equal Opportunity Employer and embraces diversity in our employee population.
