We seek talented, passionate, and committed engineers, technologists, and business leaders to join us.\nJob Summary:\nWe are seeking an experienced Sr. Manufacturing Engineer to lead Design for Manufacturing and Assembly (DFMA) initiatives for next-generation server and rack-level systems. This role is responsible for driving manufacturability improvements throughout the EVT and DVT phases, optimizing assembly processes, improving first-pass yield, and ensuring seamless transition to mass production. The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in server system integration, root-cause analysis, cross-functional collaboration, and new product introduction (NPI), with additional experience in liquid-cooled rack solutions considered a strong advantage.\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities:\nEVT/DVT DFMA Leadership: Lead comprehensive DFMA reviews during EVT/DVT phases to optimize server chassis and rack routing.\nTeardown & Analysis: Transport, disassemble, and analyze prototypes to drive design enhancements and product excellence.\nYield & Root-Cause Ownership: Drive root-cause analysis for assembly defects and implement 8D methodology to boost First Pass Yield.\nData & Documentation: Navigate MRP, BOM, and ECO systems to extract part specifications and assembly records.\nReporting & Collaboration: Generate formal DFMA reports, document findings with photos, and publish to the company intranet.\nDatabase Management: Maintain systemic DFMA records and partner with IT to optimize the tracking database.\nCross-Functional Alignment: Partner with Thermal R&D, Quality, and Suppliers to ensure a smooth transition to mass production.\nFluid-Loop Optimization: Evaluate cable and hose management to ensure seamless mass production readiness.\nQualifications:\nEducation: BS/MS in Mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering, or a related STEM discipline.\n Server Manufacturing: 8+ years of hands-on experience in server system integration (L10/L11) or rack-level assembly.\n DFMA Expert: Proven expertise leading Design for Manufacturing and Assembly (DFMA) reviews to optimize yield.\nNPI Phase Focus: Strong background guiding products through critical EVT and DVT hardware development stages.\n Liquid Cooling (Plus): Experience with rack-level liquid cooling integration, including Manifolds, CDUs, and Quick Disconnects.\n Fluid Testing (Plus): Familiarity with production-line leak and pressure testing (pneumatic, hydrostatic, and vacuum filling).\n Precision Controls (Plus): Knowledge of critical liquid-loop controls, such as torque management and blind-mate verification.\nSalary Range\n$100K-$150K\nThe salary offered will depend on several factors, including your location, level, education, training, specific skills, years of experience, and comparison to other employees already in this role.
