We seek talented, passionate, and committed engineers, technologists, and business leaders to join us.\nJob Summary:\nSupermicro is seeking a Senior Power Supply Design Engineer who can lead the product design, review, and validation of server power supply and related products. The ideal engineer will not just lead a team, but will be a hands-on, and shall have 5+ years ITE server power supply design experiences, cover PFC, flyback, LLC, phase shift, power sharing, OringFET applications in mass production with records. This individual will be required to work cross-department and assist product managers as needed in product design and development.\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities:\nIncludes the following essential duties and responsibilities (other duties may also be assigned):\nDesign and develop high-efficiency, high-power-density power supplies and DC-to-DC converters.\n\nSupport the development and testing of power shelves, including functional and performance validation.\n\nParticipate in design reviews during new product development to ensure designs meet performance, quality, and reliability requirements.\n\nContribute to performance optimization and quality improvement efforts for existing power supply products.\n\nReview second-source technical data and test reports, and assist with the implementation and validation of second-source components.\n\nAssist with power supply system analysis, including investigation of RMA issues and implementation of corrective actions to improve product reliability.\n\nParticipate in power supply bench test and system level qualifications test.\nQualifications:\nBachelor’s or Master’s degree plus 8 years switching mode power supply design. Best to have OCP ORV3 Power shelf or ORV3 PSU design skill.
