We seek talented, passionate, and committed engineers, technologists, and business leaders to join us.\nJob Summary:\nSupermicro is seeking an experienced Sr. Product Manager to lead the definition, architecture, and delivery of next-generation AI infrastructure solutions.\nThis role is responsible for developing complete rack-scale AI systems based on the latest GPU platforms, integrating compute, storage, networking, power distribution, liquid cooling, mechanical design, and manufacturing into deployable data center solutions.\nThe ideal candidate is a systems thinker who understands not only servers, but also how an entire AI cluster is designed, built, validated, shipped, and deployed.\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities:\nKey Responsibilities\n\nProduct Definition\n\nDefine next-generation AI rack products based on NVIDIA, AMD, and future accelerator platforms.\nTranslate customer requirements into complete rack-level solutions.\nDrive product roadmap and feature planning.\nBalance performance, cost, manufacturability, and deployment requirements.\nRack Solution Architecture\n\nOwn the overall rack architecture, including:\nRack mechanical layout\nGPU and CPU server integration\nNetwork topology and switch placement\nCable routing and serviceability\nRack level power architecture\nLiquid cooling architecture\nRack serviceability and field maintenance\nCustomer Solution Development\n\nWork directly with hyperscale and enterprise customers to define AI infrastructure solutions.\nReview customer requirements and recommend optimized rack architectures.\nConduct technical design reviews and solution discussions.\nSupport customer qualification and deployment activities.\nCross-functional Leadership\n\nLead cross-functional collaboration with:\nMechanical Engineering\nElectrical Engineering\nThermal Engineering\nManufacturing Engineering\nNetworking Engineering\nSupply Chain\nCost Engineering\nValidation\nProgram Management\nField Application Engineering\nSales\nDrive engineering decisions across multiple organizations.\nProduct Delivery\n\nOwn rack BOM definition and configuration management.\nDrive prototype builds and engineering validation.\nCoordinate mechanical fitting tests and system integration.\nReview packaging, logistics, and shipment readiness.\nSupport manufacturing transfer and mass production.Technical Knowledge\n\nCandidates should have working knowledge in most of the following areas:\nAI server architecture\nRack mechanical design\nPower distribution systems\nLiquid cooling\nHigh-speed networking\nCable management\nManufacturing processes\nProduct lifecycle management\nCost optimization\nSupply chain collaboration\nData center deployment\nSuccess Profile\n\nThe ideal candidate:\nThink at the system level rather than the component level.\nCan identify technical trade-offs and make balanced decisions.\nIs comfortable working with customers, engineering teams, and executive leadership.\nCan independently drive complex AI infrastructure programs from concept to production.\nDemonstrates ownership, technical depth, and strong execution.\n\nQualifications:\nRequired Qualifications\nBachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering.\n8+ years of experience in servers, storage, networking, or data center infrastructure.\nStrong understanding of AI infrastructure architecture.\nExperience with rack-level system integration.\nFamiliarity with GPU server platforms.\nExperience working with cross-functional engineering teams.\nExcellent written and verbal communnication skills\nDesired Qualifications:\nExperience with:\nNVIDIA HGX / MGX platforms\nGB200 / GB300\nAI factory deployments\nHigh-density AI racks (>100 kW)\nDirect Liquid Cooling (DLC)\nInfiniBand and Ethernet fabrics\nOCP/Open Rack standards\nRack validation and manufacturing\nSalary Range\n$155,000 - $185,000\nThe salary offered will depend on several factors, including your location, level, education, training, specific skills, years of experience, and comparison to other employees already in this role.
