This role ensures the integrity of loss prevention programs, enhances cargo security protocols, and proactively identifies and mitigates operational risks. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in physical and logistical security, investigative procedures, and enterprise-level risk management.\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities:\nDesign and enforce security protocols to safeguard employees, facilities, and critical infrastructure.\nConduct threat assessments as needed.\nCoordinate incident response efforts and post-incident reviews.\nDevelop and maintain loss prevention strategies to minimize shrinkage and asset loss.\nPerform audits and investigations into internal theft, vendor fraud, or inventory discrepancies.\nOversee cargo handling and transportation security protocols across supply chain networks.\nImplement access controls, GPS tracking, and surveillance systems to monitor high-risk shipments.\nCollaborate with logistics teams and external partners to ensure secure freight movements.\nIdentify, evaluate, and mitigate security risks to operations through regular risk assessments.\nAssist in the development of crisis management and business continuity plans.\nMonitor global and regional security threats and adjust strategies accordingly.\nMentor and supervise junior security personnel; provide training and professional development.\nEnsure compliance with local, national, and international security regulations (e.g., C-TPAT, TAPA).\nServe as the security liaison with law enforcement, government agencies, and external vendors.\nSupport EHS/SERT management operations in line with the global EHS/SERT Management Strategy.\nQualifications:\n Minimum of an associate’s two year or preferably a four-year bachelor’s college degree.\n 7-10 years of relevant experience in corporate security, law enforcement, or military roles.\n Strong knowledge of loss prevention, cargo logistics, and risk management methodologies.\n Experience with agile methodologies and transformations; agile certifications are a plus (e.g. PSM II, SAFe, ICAgile).\n In depth knowledge with security standards, e.g., Facility Security Requirements, Transportation Security Requirements, etc.\n Knowledge of legal and regulatory requirements related to security and safety. \n Excellent analytical, communication, and crisis management skills.\n Willingness to travel and respond to after-hours incidents if required.\nEEO Statement\nSupermicro is an Equal Opportunity Employer and embraces diversity in our employee population.
