In this position, the candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design robust networking products.\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities:\nIncludes the following essential duties and responsibilities (other duties may also be assigned):\nResponsible for defining, developing, testing, delivering, documenting\nMaintain BMC, CMM and SAS Expander Firmware for Server System\nResponsible for authoring Firmware specifications, developing Firmware code, and debugging/troubleshooting potential issues\nWork closely with hardware design team members\nResponsible for all software and firmware related issues during the planning, development, and validation stages of the program\nQualifications:\nBS in EE/CS/CE is preferred\n8+ working experience in firmware development preferred\nStrong programming skills in C/C++, Java\nExperience in Linux OS using source code control systems\nWorking knowledge of IPMI firmware vendors (AMI or Aten, etc.) and code structure\nCapability to design, develop for specific IPMI firmware requirements\nGood knowledge of enclosure management protocol and standards\nExcellent system-level debugging skills\nIn depth understanding in EFI BIOS firmware is a plus\nLinux and Windows device driver development experience is a plus\nEEO Statement\nSupermicro is an Equal Opportunity Employer and embraces diversity in our employee population.
