This individual will have the opportunity to define and implement latest data center and server technologies, and to create proof of concepts and technical feature paper presentations to differentiate Supermicro product through online and at various industry events. This individual will also be the go-to person for product managers and system engineers to be the subject of matter expert in application benchmarks specifically in network, database, and virtualization.As a Technial Project Manager, you will work remotely in Memphis, TN geographic location. You will be required to be at customer sites on a regular basis as needed.\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities:\nIncludes the following essential duties and responsibilities (other duties may also be assigned):\nApply various component knowledge such as CPU, DRAM, flash-based storage, and motherboard to develop and integrate embedded system products and solutions\nExecute benchmark testing and build proof of concepts based on latest data center technologies and Supermicro embedded products\nWork with product managers and system engineers to draft technical marketing presentations and white papers for online publications and industry event promotional activities\nProactively engage in learning and researching new technologies and products to propose new Proof of Concepts\nWork with Sales, FAE, and customers to provide networking solution and technical knowledge\nQualifications:\nStrong knowledge in server architecture (including PCIe, SATA, and SAS protocols) and OS concept, and knowledge in distributed computing a plus\nExperiences in configuring Windows Server, Ubuntu, Redhat Enterprise Linux\nExperiences in scripting languages (PowerShell, Linux Shell, C/C++, JavaScript) is strongly desirable\nStrong knowledge with server hardware and architectures including PCI express, and OOB management\nExperiences in technical writing and good communication skills\nPreferred/Optional: Bachelor or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering with minimum 5 years of system engineering experiences in embedded hardware products\nSalary Range\nThe salary offered will depend on several factors, including your location, level, education, training, specific skills, years of experience, and comparison to other employees already in this role.
