This role serves as the primary point of contact for facilities and security vendors, ensuring operational excellence, regulatory compliance, workplace safety, and business continuity. \nThis position partners closely with HR, Legal, Finance, IT, Engineering, and Operations teams to maintain workplace readiness, support employees, and drive continuous improvement initiatives. \nLeadership & Program Ownership \nServe as the primary owner for Facilities Operations, EHS, Workers' Compensation, and Physical Security programs \nDevelop and implement strategies to improve workplace safety, operational effectiveness, and employee experience \nDrive continuous improvement initiatives across workplace operations and vendor-managed services \nProvide subject matter expertise and recommendations regarding facilities, security, safety, and operational risk \nSupport business continuity, emergency preparedness, and operational resilience planning \nFinancial & Contract Administration \nManage facilities, security, and EHS-related operating budgets \nReview and approve invoices, purchase requisitions, and vendor expenditures \nSupport contract administration, renewals, vendor onboarding, and scope modifications \nIdentify and implement cost-saving opportunities while maintaining service quality and compliance \nEnvironmental Health & Safety (EHS) & Workers' Compensation \nOwn and administer company-wide EHS programs in compliance with OSHA, EPA, Cal/OSHA, and applicable regulations \nMaintain safety policies, procedures, training programs, and compliance initiatives \nConduct workplace inspections, risk assessments, and hazard mitigation activities \nLead incident investigations and corrective action programs \nManage OSHA logs, regulatory reporting, audit preparation, and compliance documentation \nOversee hazardous materials and waste management programs \nOwn the Workers' Compensation program, including claim administration, case management, return-to-work coordination, and carrier management \nAnalyze injury trends and implement prevention strategies to reduce workplace incidents \nFacilities Operations & Vendor Management \nManage day-to-day workplace operations across offices, labs, and test environments \nOversee facilities vendors including janitorial, maintenance, waste management, and workplace services providers \nEstablish and monitor vendor performance metrics, service level agreements, and operational KPIs \nCoordinate facility repairs, preventive maintenance activities, and minor capital improvement projects \nMaintain facilities procedures, documentation, and operational standards \nDrive vendor accountability, cost optimization, and service excellence \nSecurity Operations \nOwn site physical security programs and vendor relationships \nOversee contracted security personnel and security service providers\nCoordinate access control systems, badging processes, visitor management, CCTV systems, and related security technologies \nSupport emergency response planning, drills, investigations, and incident management \nEnsure compliance with company security policies and site security requirements \nPartner with Security, HR, Legal, and leadership on workplace safety and security matters \nWhat You Can Contribute \nBachelor's degree in Facilities Management, Environmental Health & Safety, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field preferred. A combination of education and experience may be considered.
