Review code, provide constructive feedback, and ensure adherence to coding standards and guidelines. Participate in architecture and design discussions, contributing to the overall technical vision and direction of the team. Build and maintain unit tests and integration tests to ensure code quality and reliability. Continuously improve the performance, reliability, and security of our platform. Address technical debt, refactoring code as necessary, and driving improvements in the team's software development processes and practices. Assist in the recruitment, onboarding, and training of new team members. Stay up to date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in development, sharing knowledge and insights with the team.\nResponsibilities\nCreate and maintain backend java service independently using Java, Spring Boot, and AWS\nDeveloping backend data storage system design.\nBuilding and maintaining unit tests and integration tests and engaging with test automation tools and frameworks.\nSupporting good SDLC practices, expertise in using version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD pipelines.\nTriaging and patching backend service issues\nUsing microservices, event-driven architecture and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).\nQualifications\n3+ years of software development experience\nProficiency in Java and strong working experience with Python.\nFamiliarity with frameworks such as Spring Boot.\nExperience designing and delivering RESTful APIs and microservices.\nStrong experience with ETL processes, data integration, and data pipeline development.\nWorking knowledge of Docker and modern CI/CD practices.\nExperience managing software projects in an Agile environment.\nStrong understanding of software architecture, performance optimization, secure coding practices, and production operations.\nExperience with system monitoring, troubleshooting, incident management, and maintaining highly available production environments.\nAbility to independently manage projects, including requirement gathering, solution design, implementation, testing, deployment, and client communication.\nExcellent communication, collaboration, client-facing, and conflict-resolution skills.\nExperience managing full-stack teams (frontend + backend) preferred.\nBackground in fintech, enterprise SaaS, or other regulated technology environments preferred.\nFamiliarity with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure preferred.\nOur Employee Benefits\nAt Supernova Technology, we provide a robust benefits package to support the health and well-being of our employees.
