This role sits at the intersection of brand, product, and growth - creating motion that makes our product feel alive, our ads impossible to scroll past, and our brand unmistakably Superpower. From micro-interactions in the product to full campaign films, you'll define how Superpower moves.\nWe believe emotions provide as much data as logic. Your work should make people feel.\nWhat You'll Do\nCreate motion design across brand, product, and growth: social content, ad creative, product animations, launch videos, and more\n\nDevelop and maintain a motion language for Superpower - timing, easing, transitions, and principles that scale\n\nProduce short-form video content for Meta, TikTok, YouTube, and other channels\n\nDesign UI animations and micro-interactions that elevate the product experience\n\nCollaborate with brand designers, product designers, and engineers to integrate motion into every surface\n\nWork with growth to create high-performing video ad creative - fast iteration, clear storytelling\n\nExperiment with AI-assisted motion tools, generative video, and emerging formats\n\nEdit and composite video - you're comfortable being both the creative director and the executor\n\nWhat You Bring\n3-6+ years of experience in motion design, animation, or video - at a studio, agency, brand, or in-house team\n\nA reel that shows range: brand films, social content, UI animation, typographic motion, or experimental work\n\nMastery of After Effects. Strong working knowledge of Premiere, Cinema 4D, or Blender\n\nUnderstanding of animation principles - timing, weight, easing - and how they serve storytelling\n\nAbility to work fast without sacrificing craft. We move at startup speed\n\nComfort working across brand and product contexts - you can shift from a 60s hero film to a 3s loading animation\n\nCollaborative, low-ego approach. Compensation outside of San Francisco may be adjusted based on employee location. The total compensation package may include benefits, equity-based compensation, and eligibility for a company bonus or variable pay program depending on the role.
