The platform is constantly being improved and maintained, with its performance tested in real-time by hundreds of thousands of users.\nWhat you need to bring:\nAt least 5 years of work experience in backend development. Our backend is in Golang, but prior knowledge of Go is not a requirement, as much as the interest and willingness to master it.\nUnderstanding of whole systems or interaction of different parts of systems, as well as data streams and how different components affect each other.\nFostering a culture of architecture that allows for autonomy, development, and future scaling.\nFostering a culture of understanding for junior colleagues and actively passing on knowledge to them.\nAnalysing business problems as a precondition for better delivery and preparing the right steps for delivery.\nPrioritising tasks for yourself and others.\nConsistently writing production-ready code that is understandable for other engineers, taking into account edge cases and errors.\nReleasing directly to production, as well as monitoring, maintaining, and resolving issues in production.\n Recognising the impact of serious issues (process or system wise), escalating them in a timely manner, and communicating with stakeholders from different areas.\nIn this role, you will:\nWork independently with the technologies used and be included in the entire life cycle of product development.\nBe responsible for your tasks and results delivery, act as a true team player, and always keep perfecting your skills and expertise.\nDevelop high-quality, efficient software code, implement features according to standards, continuously improve existing solutions with suggestions for new functionalities, and write automated tests to ensure code reliability and long-term solution stability.\nEnsure optimal system performance through code optimisation, monitoring production environments, and resolving issues promptly to maintain stability and reliability.\nRespond to support tickets and client inquiries efficiently, while monitoring system metrics and alerts in line with defined support guidelines.\nIdentify and communicate potential risks during implementation, collaborating with stakeholders to minimise issues.\nDocument software changes, new features, and all relevant work details for future reference, while writing and refining project tasks, providing regular written/verbal progress updates, and maintaining clear communication with team members and supervisors.\nActively participate in Guild activities by sharing knowledge, adopting best practices, and contributing to system-wide engineering initiatives.\n\n Take a peek at our benefits package:\nHybrid workplace type with flexible working hours.\nDiscretionary perks and bonuses including a summer bonus, a Christmas bonus, and an annual bonus for outstanding contributions to the team and business.\nAdditional health insurance, which includes an annual health check.\nPaid lunch and snacks in our kitchenette when you come to the office, or a lump sum fee.\n MultiSport card co-financing (we cover 33% of the amount).\nWe have more, we will tell you at a job interview. :)\nIf you like what is waiting for you with us, apply and become a part of our team.\nWe are looking forward to hearing from you!
