If you are passionate about problem-solving and helping our customers with some of their most complex issues, this role is for you.\nKey Requirements & Responsibilities:\nProject & Delivery Management\nOwn end-to-end delivery of multiple software projects, from planning through execution and release\nManage Project scope and milestones effectively\nProject estimations, assessing resource needs and allocation\nEnsure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget\nIdentify and mitigate delivery risks, dependencies, and bottlenecks\nCollaborate with Product Managers, Architects, QA, and other stakeholders to align delivery with business goals\nTrack and report project progress, metrics, and outcomes to leadership\nEnsure adherence to engineering best practices, SDLC processes, and quality standards\nTechnical Leadership\nProvide technical guidance and decision-making across projects\nReview system designs, architecture, and key technical solutions\nEnsure code quality through reviews, standards, and best practices\nSupport teams in resolving complex technical challenges\nDrive adoption of modern tools, frameworks, and engineering practices\nBalance short-term delivery needs with long-term technical scalability\nPeople Management & Team Leadership\nLead and manage a team of software engineers and/or technical leads\nConduct regular 1:1s, performance reviews, and career development discussions\nSet clear goals, expectations, and development plans for team members\nMentor and coach engineers to improve technical and professional skills\nFoster a high-performance, collaborative, and inclusive team culture\nSupport hiring, onboarding, and team capacity planning\nAddress performance issues constructively and proactively\nStakeholder & Communication Management\nAct as a primary point of contact for delivery-related communication\nTranslate business requirements into actionable technical plans\nCommunicate risks, trade-offs, and progress clearly to non-technical stakeholders\nPartner with cross-functional teams (Product, UX, DevOps, QA, Support)\nRequired Skills & Qualifications\nOverall 12+ years of Industry experience and a minimum of 4+ years of experience as Technical Manager,\nStrong Experience developing production code using TypeScript, Go-Lang, PHP, React, Node JS. Expertise in a few of these technologies is mandatory.\nExperience developing SaaS applications that run on top of AWS (and familiarity with S3, EKS, RDS, EC2)\nFamiliarity with Docker\nExperience with CI/CD tooling\nCollaborate on complex customer requirements with internal and external stakeholders\nContribute towards the design of a specific customer implementation over the development lifecycle, with a particular focus on delivery components\nA desire to work with engineers to develop their test-driven development practice\nA firm understanding of object-oriented design or functional programming, as well as common data structures and algorithms\nStrong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross cross-functional team\nExperience working with 3rd party software integrations (REST APIs, SOAP APIs, XML, JSON, etc.)\nExperience building secure applications and methodically improving application performance (Profilers, APM tools, Security scanning tools)\nExperience Needed to Qualify\nBachelor’s or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field\nMinimum 12+ years of work-related experience\nExperience in developing complex integrated technical solutions involving vendor software across the development lifecycle\nExperience building customer solutions using existing assets and capabilities, including alliances\nProblem-solving skills, costing, and technology-based solutions with deals and offerings\nIndustry knowledge across different technologies, especially in Cloud/SaaS/PaaS solutions and the role of IT in digital change\nExperience in Insurance Technology solutions (preferably policy administration systems), in Life & Annuity, will be an added advantage\nWhy Join Sureify?\n At Sureify, you’ll be part of a collaborative, innovation-driven culture where your expertise will directly influence the quality and success of products, transforming the life insurance landscape.
