We’re passionate about building tools that reduce administrative work - so our customers can focus on what matters most: serving their clients.\nAbout the Role\nThe SurePoint People team is looking for an experienced People Operations Generalist & Recruiter who is excited to connect great people with the right opportunities and help managers build strong, successful teams.\nYou’ll join a collaborative three-person People team, reporting to the Manager, People and partnering closely with the People Operations Coordinator. You’ll lead recruiting from the first conversation through the offer stage while serving as a trusted resource for managers and employees. Your work will span performance support, workplace concerns, promotions, employee development, People systems, and recurring programs. For sensitive or complex situations, you’ll have the support and partnership of the Manager, People.\nThis is an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys variety, takes ownership, and is comfortable rolling up their sleeves. If you want to contribute across many areas of People Operations and see the direct impact of your work in a mid-sized company, this role offers the chance to do both.\nWhat You’ll Do\nLead recruiting for assigned roles, including kickoff conversations, sourcing, screening, interviews, candidate selection, and offers.\nPartner with hiring managers to define role requirements and create thoughtful, consistent interview processes.\nKeep candidates and hiring teams informed throughout the recruiting process.\nHelp create and update job descriptions and support job-leveling, compensation, and promotion recommendations.\nProvide managers with clear, practical guidance on routine performance, attendance, conduct, and employee concerns.\nHelp managers document workplace and performance matters objectively and consistently.\nCoordinate annual performance reviews, employee surveys, and other recurring People programs.\nSupport performance improvement and employee development processes.\nAdminister People systems, test updates, troubleshoot issues, and partner with vendors when needed.\nHelp maintain policies, required training, employee acknowledgments, and recurring compliance activities.\nPrepare reports and monitor recruiting progress, program participation, and key People processes.\nHandle confidential information with care and recognize when an issue needs additional support. \nWhat You’ll Bring\nThree to five years of progressive experience in People Operations, HR, and full-cycle recruiting.\nExperience guiding managers through employee relations and performance situations.\nA practical understanding of employment practices and workplace compliance.\nFamiliarity with job levels, salary ranges, and compensation recommendations.\nExperience working with applicant tracking and employee information systems. Paylocity experience is a plus.\nStrong organization and project-management skills, with the ability to balance recruiting and People priorities.\nSound judgment, discretion, and confidence handling sensitive information.\nClear, professional communication skills and the ability to work effectively with employees and leaders at all levels.\nA bachelor’s degree in HR, business, or a related field is preferred, although equivalent experience is welcome.\nPHR, SHRM-CP, or multi-state HR experience is a plus.\nWhat Success Looks Like\nYou create an organized and welcoming recruiting experience, give managers timely and consistent support, and keep important People programs moving forward.
