The Panel Wiring Technician will also troubleshoot,\ndiagnose, and repair panel issues.\nResponsibilities and Duties\nAssembles and wires electrical control panels ensuring all components are properly mounted and connected per drawing specifications.\nInstalls PLCs, terminals, relays, timers, breakers, wiring, and mounts according to specifications.\nTests control panels, troubleshoots faults, preforms repairs, and verify proper operation.\nPerforms regular maintenance, including cleaning and replacing components as necessary.\nDocuments configurations and maintain installation reports.\nEnsures compliance with industry safety standards and regulations.\nConsults with electrical engineering staff in a professional manner to resolve any issues to reduce checkout punch list items.\nManages time effectively to complete projects on schedule and within budget.\nOrganizes panel wiring materials and components to efficiently manage project workflow.\nAdheres to required wiring specifications to complete projects with minimal errors.\nQualifications\nAssociates degree preferred, willing to consider a technical certificate in electrical engineering technology, mechatronics, robotics, related field, or equivalent work experience.\nStrong understanding of electrical systems and manufacturing processes.\nPrecision in assembling and wiring control panels.\nAbility to collaborate with engineers and other technicians.\nPrior experience with wiring electrical panels for equipment and machinery.\nFamiliar with electrical wiring techniques and panel building.\nAbility to interpret electrical drawings or diagrams.\nPhysical requirements include the ability to use company vehicles.
