This role will troubleshoot equipment issues, perform preventive maintenance, minimize downtime, and support production operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.\nKey Responsibilities\nPerform preventive, routine, and corrective maintenance on automated dispensing and packaging equipment.\nTroubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and equipment issues and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime.\nOperate dispensing systems and provide Shift Lead support to ensure equipment runs safely, efficiently, and on schedule.\nIdentify recurring equipment issues and recommend permanent corrective actions and process improvements.\nMaintain CMMS work orders, equipment records, calibrations, and preventive maintenance schedules.\nManage spare parts inventory and requisition replacement components and repair materials.\nDevelop and support preventive maintenance and equipment training programs.\nTrain production employees on equipment setup, operation, and basic troubleshooting.\nFollow all safety procedures and ensure equipment meets safety requirements.\nWork rotating shifts, weekends, holidays, overtime, and provide off-hours/emergency support as needed.\nQualifications & Requirements\nHigh school diploma/GED, technical school graduate, or equivalent training.\n3+ years of electro-mechanical maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.\nExperience troubleshooting and repairing automated machinery.\nProficient with power tools, hand tools, and electrical/measuring instruments.\nBasic knowledge of machine shop practices and mechanical systems.\nWorking knowledge of 220V electrical systems.\nStrong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills.\nAbility to work independently and prioritize maintenance activities in a production environment.\nExperience with CMMS systems is preferred.\nEQUAL OPPORTUNITY EMPLOYER: Surge is an equal opportunity employer.
