This role is responsible for troubleshooting and maintaining computer hardware, warehouse management systems, network connectivity, and other technology used throughout the facility.\nThe ideal candidate will have experience in IT support, desktop troubleshooting, networking, and warehouse systems. This position works closely with Operations, Facilities Maintenance, and corporate IT teams to resolve technical issues, maintain system functionality, and minimize disruptions to daily operations.\nPay & Schedule\nPay Rate: $23.00 per hour\nRegular Schedule: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday\nRegular Hours: 5:00 PM - 3:30 AM\nTraining Schedule: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday, 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM\nLocation: Fort Payne, AL 35967\nWork Arrangement: On-site\nResponsibilities\nProvide Level 1 and Level 2 technical support for desktops, laptops, printers, copiers, IP phones, RF scanners, PC emulators, servers, and other IT equipment.\nTroubleshoot computer hardware, software, operating system, and general technical issues reported by distribution center employees.\nSupport and troubleshoot the facility's warehouse management system (WMS).\nVerify warehouse management system processes and investigate system-related issues.\nUse query and file access tools within the AS400 environment to support system configuration and data integrity.\nWork with Facilities Maintenance to troubleshoot material handling equipment (MHE) interfaces.\nAssist project leads with system configuration and database changes as needed.\nEscalate complex Level 3 technical issues to corporate IT support when additional assistance is required.\nCollaborate with Operations and Facilities Maintenance to minimize system downtime and maintain efficient distribution center operations.\nCommunicate with internal and external customers to identify issues, provide updates, and resolve technical support requests.\nProvide remote technical support during emergencies using a company-provided laptop and cell phone.\nParticipate in an on-call rotation or respond to emergency issues as required by the position.\nQualifications\nHigh school diploma or equivalent required.\nBachelor's degree or technical college education preferred.\nCCNP certification or 1-3 years of general networking experience required.\nAt least 3 years of experience in desktop support or warehouse systems support.\nExperience with Microsoft Windows operating systems.\nExperience with Microsoft Outlook, Lotus Notes, or other email systems.\nExperience supporting VoIP telecommunications systems.\nUnderstanding of general networking protocols, including TCP/IP, DNS, and DHCP.\nStrong SQL skills for query development and reporting.\nFamiliarity with AS400 systems and warehouse management systems preferred.\nKnowledge of Manhattan Associates PKMS/WM is a plus.\nSkills & Abilities\nStrong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.\nAbility to diagnose and resolve technical issues independently.\nStrong verbal and written communication skills.\nAbility to manage competing priorities and follow direction from multiple supervisors.\nEffective time management and organizational skills.\nAbility to work collaboratively with IT, Operations, and Facilities Maintenance teams.\nResourcefulness and adaptability in a fast-paced distribution center environment.\nWillingness to carry a company-provided cell phone and respond to emergency technical issues remotely as
