This is a hands-on role that requires strong communication, organization, problem-solving skills, and the ability to adapt to changing production needs.\nKey Responsibilities\nCoordinate and oversee daily quality inspection and containment activities\nSupport mechanical rework and repair operations while ensuring work meets specifications\nPerform and/or oversee detailed dimensional inspections using precision measuring equipment\nCommunicate with customers, supervisors, inspectors, and team members to maintain workflow and resolve quality issues\nMaintain accurate quality records, reports, project documentation, and inspection results\nAssist with site launches, including setup, training, and process validation\nProvide direction, guidance, and support to small teams to meet project and quality goals\nIdentify quality concerns and assist with problem-solving and corrective actions\nHelp ensure containment and rework processes are completed accurately and efficiently\nMaintain a safe, organized, and productive work environment\nRemain flexible to support production demands, including overtime, weekends, and varying work hours\nQualifications\nMinimum 2 years of leadership or supervisory experience in a quality, inspection, rework, or containment environment\nStrong technical and mechanical background\nDemonstrated leadership experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment\nHands-on experience with dimensional inspection and precision measurement\nExperience using tools such as:Calipers\nMicrometers\nPin gauges\nHeight gauges\n\nMechanical and/or rework experience required\nStrong understanding of quality processes, inspection methods, and containment operations\nStrong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills\nExcellent communication and organizational skills\nAbility to work independently while also leading and supporting a small team\nAbility to travel as required\nWillingness to work overtime, weekends, and varying hours based on business needs\nEducation\nBachelor's degree preferred, but not required\nEquivalent technical, manufacturing, quality, or leadership experience will be considered\nIdeal Candidate\nThe ideal candidate has hands-on experience in quality control, quality inspection, containment, mechanical rework, or manufacturing, along with the leadership skills needed to coordinate daily activities and support customer requirements.
