This role is responsible for ensuring products and processes meet company, customer, and regulatory quality requirements.\nThe Quality Engineer will work closely with production, engineering, suppliers, and customers to identify and resolve quality issues, improve manufacturing processes, reduce defects, and drive continuous improvement.\nKey Responsibilities\nDevelop, implement, and maintain quality standards, procedures, and control plans\nMonitor manufacturing processes and product quality to ensure compliance with specifications\nInvestigate product defects, customer complaints, and process issues using root cause analysis\nLead corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) and verify their effectiveness\nUtilize quality tools including 8D, 5 Why, Fishbone/Ishikawa, FMEA, SPC, and Pareto analysis\nDevelop and maintain PFMEA, Control Plans, work instructions, and inspection standards\nSupport APQP, PPAP, MSA, and capability studies for new and existing products\nAnalyze quality data and identify trends to support continuous improvement\nPartner with production teams to implement process improvements and reduce scrap and rework\nPerform internal, process, and product audits\nWork with suppliers to resolve incoming material and supplier quality concerns\nInvestigate customer complaints and product nonconformances\nTrain employees on quality procedures, standards, and requirements\nMaintain accurate quality documentation and records\nEnsure compliance with applicable quality standards, including IATF 16949, ISO 9001, and customer-specific requirements\nCollaborate effectively with production, engineering, suppliers, and management\nQualifications\n2-5 years of experience in Quality Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Engineering, or a related field\nKnowledge of Quality Management Systems (QMS)\nExperience with quality standards such as ISO 9001, IATF 16949, or AS9100\nExperience with Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and Corrective/Preventive Actions (CAPA)\nKnowledge of 8D, 5 Why, Fishbone/Ishikawa, FMEA, Control Plans, and SPC\nExperience developing and maintaining process and product quality standards\nAbility to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and GD&T\nExperience with inspection and measurement tools\nUnderstanding of Measurement System Analysis (MSA) and Gage R&R\nKnowledge of statistical analysis and data-driven problem solving\nExperience conducting internal, supplier, or process audits\nAbility to investigate customer complaints and nonconformances\nStrong Microsoft Excel skills and experience with quality-related software\nExcellent problem-solving, analytical, communication, and organizational skills\nAbility to work effectively in a cross-functional manufacturing
