It drives business value by improving material availability, supplier on-time delivery and customer on-time delivery. The role reports to the Supply Chain Manager and is based at Survitec Dunmurry. Duties and responsibilities\nMaintains Owns Safety Stock Quantity and Reorder Point settings, ensuring buffers sit in the correct field per item ordering policy\nMonitors and resets Reorder Points on a rolling basis using lead-time demand (average daily usage × lead time)\nUses ERP planning and requisition outputs to check that parameters are producing sensible, actionable supply signals, and adjust them where they are not\nRuns daily and weekly exception reporting (stockouts, understock, at-risk items, overdue lines, unassigned purchaser codes) and passes actions to the responsible buyers\nCarries out regular and timely risk assessment for the demand and supply planning function; identifies, manages and mitigates demand related business risk effectively and appropriately\nMonitors inventory health states (Stockout, Understock, Healthy, Overstock, Excess, Obsolete) against Days Cover thresholds\nReviews existing operations in own area of work and implements innovation processes to generate new ideas and ensure continuous improvements are delivered\nResolves queries from internal or external customers or suppliers by providing information on complex processes and related policies, referring to others where necessary for interpretation of policy\nContributes to stakeholder engagement through identifying stakeholders, finding out their needs, issues and concerns, and reacting to these by creating and conveying information to promote understanding and commitment\nLiaises with production customer services material availability\nSupports supplier segmentation (Kraljic Matrix) and re-sourcing programmes as needed\nSupports the local supply chain leadership team in increasing local business knowledge of the sales and operational planning process, including communicating and training colleagues on process and planning best practice\nCreates an environment where everyone in the team can live the Survitec Values\nContributes positively to creating an inclusive environment where our people feel valued, appreciated and free to be who they are at work\nUnderstands, upholds and contributes to creating a safety-first culture within Survitec.
