The ideal candidate moves fluidly between managing legacy SSAS partitions and architecting modern Microsoft Fabric semantic models using engineering tools like Tabular Editor and ALM Toolkit. This role operates with minimal oversight, defining the governance and security logic for their domain.\nJob Description:\nEDUCATION:\nEquivalent experience will be accepted in lieu of the required degree or diploma\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related technical field\nCERTIFICATION & LICENSURE:\nEpic Cogito Certification within one year of start date.\n Microsoft Certified: Fabric Analytics Engineer Associate (DP-600) within one year of start date.\nTYPICAL EXPERIENCE:\n6 years of progressive experience in analytics engineering, business intelligence architecture, or semantic modeling.\nExperience independently architecting enterprise-grade data models.\nExperience managing the application lifecycle management of tabular models.\nSKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:\nStrong proficiency in Advanced DAX and SQL.\nLanguages: Expert SQL; Advanced DAX.\n Tools: Deep proficiency in Tabular Editor (2 or 3), DAX Studio, ALM Toolkit, and Power BI Service.\n Architecture: Expert knowledge of Dimensional Modeling (Star Schema) and Composite Models.\nEngineering: Experience with CI/CD pipelines for semantic models and Git integration.\n Concepts: Deep understanding of the VertiPaq engine (compression, encoding, materialization).\nJob Shift:\nDaysSchedule:\nFull TimeDays of the Week:\nMonday - FridayWeekend Requirements:\nAs NeededBenefits:\nYesUnions:\nNoPosition Status:\nExemptWeekly Hours:\n40Employee Status:\nRegularSutter Health is an equal opportunity employer EOE/M/F/Disability/Veterans.\nPay Range is $117,436.80 to $176,155.20 / annual salaryThe compensation range may vary based on the geographic location where the position is filled.
