It is imperative that Suvoda staff working with clients, end-users, or the systems that client and end-users interact with understand the clinical trial industry, regulations, Suvoda’s software products and processes, and especially the specificities of the unique trial in question before taking any actions they may alter the data of the system in question. \nReports to: Director, Site Reliability Engineering\nResponsibilities:\nLead design of major software components, systems, and features to improve the\navailability, scalability, latency, and efficiency of Suvoda’s services.\nCollaborate and liaison with global teams across the Software Development Lifecycle\n(SDLC) to deliver software products and client services and to remove obstacles and\nblockers\nEngage in and improve the whole lifecycle of services-from inception and design,\nthrough deployment, operation, and refinement.\nWork on creating technical standards and participate in RFC discussions and proposals.\nWrite and maintain technical documentation for the platform\nInvestigate and resolve platform issues, collaborating with other teams as necessary\nPractice sustainable incident response and blameless postmortems.\nWork on improving the engineering culture at Suvoda.\nPerform other related duties as required\nRequirements:\nBachelor’s degree or equivalent experience\nProficient in at least one major programming language (C#, Java, C++, Python, Go, etc.)\nExperience with distributed systems, big data, and/or parallel computing\nExperience with cloud-based platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)\nExperience:\n12+ years of professional experience in software engineering\nWe are aware that an individual(s) are fraudulently representing themselves as Suvoda recruiters and/or hiring managers.
