Passion is put into what we do every day.\nPurpose of the Role:\nAdvance Svante’s RCTSA process cycles through adsorption testing, process optimization, and experimental data analysis.\nDevelop and implement adsorbent screening, characterization methods, and process simulations to improve technology performance.\nApply chemical engineering fundamentals to generate process insights, achieve performance targets, and advance Svante’s carbon capture technology toward commercialization.\nRequired Skills and Qualifications:\nBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering or a related discipline.\nMinimum of 3 years of experience in gas separation technologies, adsorption process development, process design, and data analysis.\nStrong understanding of chemical engineering fundamentals, including thermodynamics, heat and mass transfer, and adsorption kinetics.\nExperience with adsorption process modelling, simulation, and experimental data interpretation.\nStrong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills, with attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy and reproducibility.\nBonus Skills and Qualifications:\nKnowledge of solid adsorbents and Pressure Swing Adsorption (PSA) or Temperature Swing Adsorption (TSA) cycle development.\nExperience translating laboratory characterization and process performance data into process models and actionable insights.\nExperience supporting process scale-up, cross-functional engineering projects, and continuous improvement initiatives.\nWhat Success looks like in this role:\nDesign, execute, and validate adsorption process and material characterization tests while ensuring accurate, reliable, and reproducible results.\nAnalyze experimental data and support process modelling, optimization, and scale-up activities to improve Svante’s RCTSA process cycles.\nCollaborate with engineering, characterization, coating, bed-build, manufacturing, and project teams to implement validated processes and drive continuous improvement.\nPrepare technical reports, communicate findings, and recommend process improvements that support technology performance targets and commercialization objectives.\nEqual Employment Opportunity Statement\nSvante is an Equal Employment Opportunity employer.
