Passion is put into what we do every day.\nPurpose of the Role:\nDevelop and commercialize structured adsorbent bed (SAB) products for point-source carbon-capture applications.\nTranslate performance requirements into safe, reliable, manufacturable, and cost-effective designs - from early concepts through validation and production release.\nWork across R&D, systems, materials, process, contactor engineering, manufacturing, quality, and supply chain to support product development and commercialization.\nRequired Skills and Qualifications:\nDegree in mechanical engineering or related discipline; professional registration.\nAt least 10 years of experience, preferably with carbon capture, adsorption systems, structured contactors, filtration, heat exchangers, or process equipment.\nKnowledge of pressure drop, mass transfer, thermal management, and gas-flow distribution.\nFamiliarity with polymeric, metallic, composite, adhesive, coating, or porous materials.\nExperience with accelerated-life testing, reliability engineering, and statistical methods.\nFamiliarity with relevant ASME, ASTM, ISO, and pressure-equipment standards.\nBonus Skills and Qualifications:\nExperience with PLM systems, configuration management, and ISO 9001 environments.\nExperience designing with Creo CAD and Simcenter FEA is desirable.\nLean Six Sigma, project-management, cost-modeling, or supplier-development experience.\nWhat Success looks like in this role\nDevelop point-source Structured Adsorbent Bed concepts, architectures, components, interfaces, and assemblies.\nTranslate process and customer requirements into engineering specifications and acceptance criteria.\nPerform mechanical, thermal, structural, tolerance, and flow-distribution analyses.\nSelect materials compatible with adsorbents, process gases, temperature, pressure, humidity, and cycling conditions.\nEqual Employment Opportunity Statement\nSvante is an Equal Employment Opportunity employer.
