Our client is an established, third-generation family business with more than 80 years of history in wholesale protein distribution across the Pacific Northwest. Known for rigorous food-safety standards and a customer-first culture.\nAs a Cloud and Platform Engineer, you will own how the pod’s AI workflows run in production, covering identity, environments, pipelines, secrets, observability, and cost visibility in the client’s Azure tenancy. You will secure early review and sign-off from the client’s security and DevOps functions and make sure nothing is configured by hand in a console.\nTime zone: U.S. Pacific Time (PT)\nRequirements\n5+ years in cloud platform, DevOps, or SRE roles, with strong Azure expertise.\nExperience with Terraform or Bicep, and with Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions pipelines.\nExperience with identity and access management: Okta or Entra ID, managed identities, Key Vault, and RBAC.\nExperience with observability using Azure Monitor, Application Insights, or Log Analytics.\nExperience passing enterprise security reviews.\nSecurity-conscious and detail-oriented mindset.\nAbility to collaborate well with client IT and security teams.\nClear written documentation skills.\nProactive approach to cost and reliability risks.\nWill be a plus\nExperience hosting LLM workloads.\nFinOps and cost dashboard experience.\nSOC 2 evidence preparation experience.\nPolicy as code (Azure Policy, OPA).\nResponsibilities\nSet up the pod’s access path in the first week: Okta accounts, VDI where required, and an Azure subscription or resource group.\nBuild environments as infrastructure as code, along with the CI/CD pipelines that every increment ships through.\nImplement separate identities for people and agents, least-privilege access, secrets management, and policy as code.\nProvide action-level audit logging, observability, and drift and incident monitoring.\nProvide run-cost visibility (cloud and model consumption) for the Value Ledger.\nMonitor production automations and receive their failure alerts.\nPrepare evidence for the client’s security and DevOps sign-off.\nTech Stack:\nMicrosoft Azure.\nTerraform or Bicep.\nAzure DevOps or GitHub Actions.\nOkta or Entra
