Our client is an AI company building practical, industry-specific AI for dental and healthcare practices. Its platform supports marketing, operations, and advertising compliance, so small teams who wear many hats can spend less time on repetitive work and more on patients\nYou will be part of a small offshore team of two, extending our client’s cloud-based SaaS platform. The work is integration-heavy: connecting the platform to third-party systems and building customer-facing messaging and workflow features on top of them. You will work directly with the client’s engineers and product owner, set the technical approach within the client’s conventions, and guide a mid-level developer. Because the team is small, you will own quality, testing, and release readiness as well as delivery.\nRequirements\nSenior-level commercial experience in full-stack JavaScript or TypeScript.\nStrong Node.js and Express experience, including serverless delivery on AWS Lambda.\nStrong PostgreSQL experience, including schema design, migrations, performance, and row-level security.\nProven experience building and maintaining third-party REST API integrations, including OAuth 2.0 and webhooks.\nWorking experience with React.\nExperience building multi-tenant SaaS and handling sensitive personal data.\nExperience with AWS (RDS, SES, CloudWatch).\nExperience with AI-assisted development tools, such as Claude Code.\nStrong written and spoken English.\nWill be a plus\nExperience in healthcare or other regulated environments.\nExperience with email deliverability and SMS gateways.\nFamiliarity with Australian privacy and messaging regulation.\nExperience with CI/CD and automated testing.\nResponsibilities\nDesign, code, test, document, and refactor complex features and integration services.\nDesign and build integrations with third-party APIs, handling authentication, rate limits, failures, and vendor differences reliably.\nReview the mid-level developer’s work, set coding standards, and coach them.\nOwn automated testing, release readiness, and production monitoring for the work the team delivers.\nUse Claude Code within the client’s review guardrails to work quickly without lowering
