The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with Simultaneous Localization and Mapping (SLAM) and a solid understanding of modern SLAM techniques and recent developments in the field.\nCore Focus: Visual SLAM / VIO (Visual-Inertial Odometry).\nSensors: Primarily Camera and IMU on mobile devices.\nTech Stack: Python is the main environment.\nPrimary Task: Developing SLAM algorithms (rather than just integrating/customizing existing solutions).\nFirst 2-3 Months Deliverable: Deliver an initial prototype of a simplified SLAM system.\nRequirements\nStrong practical experience with SLAM.\nStrong programming skills in C++ and/or Python.\nGood knowledge of recent SLAM approaches and developments in the field.\nUnderstanding of optimization techniques commonly used in SLAM.\nExperience working with real-world sensor data and debugging complex perception systems.\nAbility to independently investigate technical problems and deliver effective, outcome-focused solutions.\nResponsibilities\nDesign, implement, and improve SLAM algorithms and related localization and mapping components.\nEvaluate and apply modern SLAM approaches based on product and project requirements.\nImprove the robustness, accuracy, and performance of localization and mapping solutions.\nAnalyze algorithm performance, identify limitations, and troubleshoot complex technical
