Key Areas of Responsibility: · The Engine Rating reports to the Chief Engineer. · The Engine Rating contributes so the vessel is always available to be deployed in a safe and efficient manner, as directed by the Chief Engineer and always in accordance with HMS policies/procedures and according to local legislation when applicable. · To perform all work tasks safely and if in doubt before the work start ask the Chief Engineer for guidance · Propose initiatives for raising the onboard safety level · Active participation in safety training like drills onboard · To perform duties assigned by the Chief Engineer related to all tasks on the vessel. · To perform maintenance and housekeeping duties on deck, in the engine room or accommodation as instructed by the Chief Engineer. · The Engine Rating has the ob
