What you will do

  • Carry out daily servicing and maintenance of customer EV charging stations.

  • Support service and maintenance contracts, helping to meet agreed response times and service levels.

  • Ensure all work is carried out safely and in line with company procedures and relevant electrical and EV charging standards.

  • Participate in an on-call rota, approximately 1 week in 5, Monday to Monday, as required.

What we offer

  • Full internal training and relevant certifications.

  • The opportunity to develop your career in the growing EV charging industry.

  • A company vehicle and the tools required for the role.

  • The opportunity to work as part of an expanding technical team.

  • A varied role involving customer support, diagnostics, maintenance and repairs.

  • 33 days holiday (including bank holidays) pro rata

  • Employer pension contributions

  • Employee Assistance Programme

  • Life assurance up to 6x salary

  • Full training and development opportunities

Essential

  • At least 2 years’ experience in a technical support or field service engineering role.

  • A proven track record of carrying out servicing, maintenance and repairs.

  • Experience using a multimeter and carrying out continuity testing.

  • A practical, hands-on approach and confidence using tools.

  • Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Good communication skills, with the ability to explain technical issues clearly to customers and colleagues.

  • A full MANUAL UK driving licence.

  • Right to live and work in the UK.

  • No more than 3 points on your driving licence.

Desirable

  • Experience in the EV charging, automotive, clean energy or electrical engineering sectors.

  • Previous experience working with charging infrastructure or similar electrical equipment.

  • Experience providing remote technical support.

  • Previous participation in an on-call or out-of-hours support rota.

  • Relevant engineering qualifications or technical training.
