You’ll work hands-on across Microsoft 365, Entra ID, endpoint management, identity, hardware, networking, security, and cloud infrastructure.\nThis is a great role for someone who has built a strong foundation in IT support or operations and is ready for their next step. You’ll have the opportunity to work directly with experienced Systems Administrators and the Head of IT while progressively taking on more complex systems and infrastructure responsibilities.\nProfessional experience administering Microsoft 365 in a business environment is required. You should already be comfortable working in the Microsoft 365 Admin Center, Entra ID, Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, licensing, users, groups, shared resources, and access troubleshooting.\nAt Swarm Aero, IT is not just about keeping laptops running. We’re building a fast-moving aerospace company where technology, security, and infrastructure directly enable engineers and operators to build and deploy autonomous aircraft.\nYou’ll have the opportunity to work in an environment where your decisions have real impact, take ownership early, and grow alongside a company that is scaling rapidly.\nIf you’re the kind of IT professional who gets excited about figuring out why something broke, how to fix it, and how to make sure it never happens again, you’ll fit in well here.\nResponsibilities\nOwn and manage the day-to-day IT support queue, prioritizing and resolving employee issues.\n\nAdminister users, groups, licenses, shared mailboxes, distribution lists, shared calendars, and Microsoft 365 resources.\n\nPerform day-to-day administration of Entra ID.\n\nSupport and troubleshoot Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, and OneDrive.\n\nManage user and group-based access to company resources.\n\nTroubleshoot account access, MFA, authentication, permissions, licensing, and Microsoft 365 service issues.\n\nSupport employee onboarding and offboarding across the Microsoft 365 environment.\n\nProvision, deploy, configure, and maintain employee laptops and other IT hardware.\n\nManage hardware and software lifecycle processes.\n\nTroubleshoot issues that cross multiple systems rather than treating each application as an isolated product.\n\nDocument solutions, procedures, and repeatable processes.\n\nIdentify opportunities to automate repetitive IT tasks and improve the employee technology experience.\n\nWork alongside the Systems Administration team to progressively take on more advanced responsibilities across:\nIntune and endpoint management\n\nConditional Access\n\nEnterprise applications\n\nSSO and SCIM provisioning\n\nPrivileged access\n\nIdentity and access management\n\nNetworking\n\nCloud infrastructure\n\nSecurity and compliance\n\nAutomation\n\nRequired Qualifications\n2-4 years of professional experience in IT support, desktop support, IT operations, endpoint administration, or a similar role.\n\nHands-on professional experience administering Microsoft 365 in a business environment.\n\nComfortable administering:\nMicrosoft 365 Admin Center\n\nEntra ID / Azure AD\n\nExchange Online\n\nTeams\n\nSharePoint\n\nOneDrive\n\nMicrosoft 365 licensing\n\nShared mailboxes and shared resources\n\nMFA and basic authentication troubleshooting\n\nStrong Windows troubleshooting skills.\n\nExperience provisioning, deploying, and supporting business laptops and employee hardware.\n\nSome experience with Intune, another MDM platform, Active Directory, or endpoint-management tooling.\n\nAbility to troubleshoot beyond the immediate user symptom and determine whether an issue involves the endpoint, identity, application, permissions, or network.\n\nBasic understanding of DNS, DHCP, IP addressing, Wi-Fi, VPNs, and general networking.\n\nStrong organizational skills and the ability to independently manage an active support queue.\n\nStrong written and verbal communication skills.\n\nAbility to create clear technical documentation and repeatable processes.\n\nWillingness to handle both hands-on employee support and increasingly complex systems work.\n\nA curious, ownership-oriented mindset and the ability to learn quickly in a fast-moving environment.\n\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience with any of the following is a plus:\nMicrosoft Intune\n\nWindows Autopilot\n\nJamf Pro\n\nPowerShell\n\nApplication packaging and deployment\n\nAWS / AWS GovCloud\n\nGCC High\n\nJuniper Mist\n\nCMMC / NIST 800-171\n\nLinux\n\nSAML / SSO / SCIM\n\nGitLab\n\nInfrastructure as Code\n\nEngineering applications such as Siemens NX, Teamcenter, MATLAB, Cameo, or similar platforms\n\nSalary Range: $55,000 - $70,000, DOE\nITAR requirement\nTo conform to U.S. Government export regulations, applicant must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident of the U.S., protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3), or eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State.\nSwarm Aero is an equal opportunity employer.
