We built this software to enable democratic nations to defend themselves.\nIf you are motivated by building resilient systems that matter and by seeing the direct impact of your work, you’ll find purpose here.\nWho we’re looking for:\nWe're looking for a hands-on UAV/Drones Preflight Specialist who enjoys getting hardware flight-ready - flashing firmware, configuring modules, running bench tests and test flights, and tracking down faults. Here, your work doesn't stay in the lab: the drones you prepare are deployed in some of the most demanding conditions in the world.\nWhat you’ll do:\nPerform visual and technical quality control of UAV assembly and electronic component integration - after in-house production or repair, as well as after purchasing UAVs from third-party manufacturers.\n\nInstall, flash, and configure firmware and software on the flight controller and additional UAV modules.\n\nRun comprehensive testing, including initial activation, bench tests, and initial test flights, to verify correct UAV operation and configuration.\n\nConfigure and verify connectivity between the drone and flight planning systems or ground control stations.\n\nDiagnose and resolve faults at the software and component-integration level, and perform scheduled maintenance on UAVs and related equipment.\n\nCreate and maintain clear technical documentation, including setup instructions for various UAV system components, test reports, and user manuals.\n\nWhat we need:\nSolid knowledge of UAV components and systems.\n\nStrong soldering skills and hands-on experience with electronic components.\n\nFamiliarity with UAV firmware and tools like Betaflight, ArduPilot, Mission Planner, and QGroundControl.\n\nAbility to read and interpret technical diagrams and schematics.\n\nWorking knowledge of Linux - comfortable in the terminal, with SSH, and basic commands.\n\nUnderstanding of complex IT systems with multilayer communication.\n\nEnglish at B1 level or higher.\n\n Would be an advantage:\nProven experience assembling, configuring, and maintaining UAVs (FPV, commercial, or military).\n\nExperience with 3D printing and custom details design.\n\nBasic programming skills (Python, Bash, or C++).\n\nWhat you’ll get:\nA dynamic environment with a unique opportunity to directly influence and see the impact of your work.\n\nHands-on work with drone hardware that's actively shaping the field, not just theory.\n\nA tight engineering team with short feedback loops and real ownership of your builds.\n\nCompetitive salary and a comprehensive benefits package\n\nHow’s the hiring process going:\nRecruiter Screen → Technical Interview → Test Day → Skip-level Interview → Offer\nPlease note that, as a leading defense tech company, we take operations security seriously and may need to perform additional background checks as part of our hiring process.
