In this role, you will contribute to the development and implementation of automation solutions that enhance manufacturing performance, quality, and efficiency across Swarovski's jewelry production network.\nBy working closely with production, engineering, quality, and external equipment suppliers, you will transform manufacturing challenges into innovative mechanical solutions. From concept design to machine deployment, you will play a key role in bringing automation ideas to life and supporting the future of smart manufacturing.\nDesign and develop mechanical systems, machines, fixtures, and automation solutions to improve manufacturing processes and productivity.\nAnalyze production challenges and identify opportunities for automation, process optimization, and operational excellence.\nCreate detailed 3D models, engineering drawings, and technical specifications using CAD tools.\nPerform engineering calculations, simulations, tolerance analysis, and design validation to ensure reliable machine performance.\nManage and collaborate with equipment suppliers throughout design, fabrication, installation, and machine acceptance activities.\nSupport equipment commissioning, troubleshooting, testing, and production ramp-up to ensure successful implementation.\nMaintain technical documentation, standards, and engineering records while ensuring compliance with safety and quality requirements.\nWork closely with cross-functional stakeholders to deliver automation projects on time, within budget, and aligned with business objectives.\nBring your magic\nWe are looking for a unique and amazing talent who brings along the following:\nBachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Automation Engineering, or a related field.\n2+ years of experience in mechanical design, automation engineering, manufacturing engineering, or machine development within an industrial environment.\nHands-on experience in machine design, fixture design, automation systems, and mechanical problem solving.\nProficiency in 3D CAD software such as SolidWorks, Inventor, Creo, CATIA, or similar design platforms.\nKnowledge of automation components, including pneumatic systems, actuators, motion systems, sensors, and machine safety principles.\nStrong analytical, project management, and communication skills with the ability to work effectively across functions and external partners.\nGood English communication skills and a passion for innovation, continuous improvement, and technology-driven manufacturing.\nMasters of Light Since 1895\nSwarovski creates beautiful crystal-based products of impeccable quality and craftsmanship that bring joy and celebrate individuality.\nFounded in 1895 in Austria, the company designs, manufactures and sells the world's finest crystal, gemstones, Swarovski Created Diamonds and zirconia, jewelry, and accessories, as well as crystal objects and home accessories.
