About the Job
Reconcile customer and transitory accounts, including cash, credit card transactions, credit notes, electronic gift cards, and advance payments, ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial records.
Investigate and resolve account discrepancies by collaborating closely with Retail Stores and cross-functional Finance teams.
Monitor and reconcile daily payment transactions, proactively identifying, following up on, and resolving discrepancies in a timely manner.
Perform system validations and data integrity checks to ensure the accuracy of financial processes and reporting.
Prepare and execute monthly Balance Sheet reconciliations in accordance with company policies and accounting standards.
Execute and maintain internal controls to support compliance, risk mitigation, and process efficiency.
Support external and internal audit activities by providing required documentation, analysis, and explanations related to assigned accounts and processes.
About You
Fluent English is required; Spanish language skills are highly preferred
Degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field is preferred
Previous experience in accounting, finance, administration, or a similar area is an advantage, but not required
Basic to intermediate Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, filtering, reconciliation analysis)
Familiarity with SAP and Microsoft Office applications is welcome
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in daily work
Analytical mindset with a willingness to dig into issues and identify solutions
Good problem-solving and organizational skills
Ability to manage priorities effectively and work in a dynamic environment
Adaptable, proactive, and eager to learn
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Ability to work independently while maintaining a high level of quality and accountability
