This position is for those who are a self-starter and love bridging the gap between financial data and business processes.\nEssential duties include the following:\nAnalyzes financial performance against key business metrics and document pertinent financial highlights that will enable management to determine progress against budgets.\nImproves financial and operational results by analyzing results and variances, identifying trends and recommending actions.\nWorks with Senior Management and operational business partners to provide operational analysis and reporting and to drive improvements in operating expense efficiency and forecasting.\nResearches and prepares variance analysis and explanations on an ad hoc basis to support Senior Management and business decisions.\nLeads the quarterly/annual operations budgeting and planning process, as well as long range strategic planning.\nConstruct and enhance processes responsible for tracking and recording capitalized labor relating to software development depreciation.\nPrepares monthly/quarterly budget versus actual variance analysis for Senior Management.\nIdentifies areas of improvement in processes and tools, making recommendations, and drives operational implementation with Senior Management.\nAssists Senior Management in long-range strategic planning to include cost benefit analysis and offshore operational footprints.\nPerforms all other duties as assigned.\nSerious candidates will possess the minimum qualifications:\nBachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field from an accredited four-year college or university required.\nMinimum of two (2) years in a corporate reporting/corporate financial management role involved in financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, or related experience within the financial services industry.\nExperience working with a variety of information systems and data files, including large and complex files: analyzing file structure, using and creating file layouts, transforming raw data into finished products.\nExcellent financial modeling and analysis skills.\nDemonstrated proficiency in forecasting and an understanding of financial and operational impacts from forecasting activities.\nStrong understanding of financial statements and accounting.\nAbility to translate financial analysis into indicators for operational change and improvement.\nAdvanced technology skills required for analysis and reporting of data.\nStrong interpersonal skills, verbal and written communication skills, research capabilities, and follow-up skills.\nStrong decision-making, detail-oriented, and problem resolution skills.\nExcellent communication skills, both written and verbal.\nAble to effectively manage multiple assignments, projects, and priorities.\nAble to sit for long periods of time analyzing, comparing, and validating data.\nSWBC offers*:\nCompetitive overall compensation package\nWork/Life balance \nEmployee engagement activities and recognition awards \nYears of Service awards\nCareer enhancement and growth opportunities \nLeadership Academy and Mentor Program\nContinuing education and career certifications \nVariety of healthcare coverage options\nTraditional and Roth 401(k) retirement plans \nLucrative Wellness Program\n*Based upon employee eligibility\nAdditional Information:\nSWBC is a Substance-Free Workplace and requires pre-employment drug testing.\nPlease note, SWBC does not hire tobacco users as allowed by law.\nTo learn more about SWBC, visit our website at www.SWBC.com.
