This individual provides support and development to Microsoft Power Platform initiatives.\nWhy you'll love this role:\nAs a Financial Operational Analyst team member in our corporate accounting department at SWBC, you will be part of a collaborative team to help design and support business development processes, including building systems web services standards, utilizing your programming skills in SQL, Python and Power BI for development, testing and implementation to create automated reporting using code and ETL to absorb code projects in our Workday program.\nEssential duties include the following:\nPrioritizes business and project requirements and makes appropriate decisions considering the relative costs and benefits of potential actions.\nBuild, deploy, and maintain inbound and outbound integrations with Workday Financials and with third party applications.\nProvide support and develop for the Microsoft Power Platform (Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate).\nDefines project purposes and outcomes, performs project planning to allocate and balance project resources, timelines, and scope, develops project maps and milestones, and leads project team in adhering to timelines.\nAssists in the design, review, testing, and implementation of Workday system updates and enhancements as they relate to integrations and assesses the impact of new enhancements on integrations.\nPerforms regression testing on integrations during Workday enhancements.\nTracks and performs business operations reporting and analytics needs. \nEnsures the accounting team and external team members are kept informed of business process changes, business issues, technical systems information, and the like by communicating and collaborating with team members on a regular basis.\nDefines and documents processes and future state process maps.\nDevelops business cases for new tools and resources.\nFacilitates testing and quality assurance and facilitates end user training.\nParticipates in ad-hoc projects and due diligence efforts.\nSerious candidates will possess the minimum qualifications:\nBachelor’s Degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, Computer Information Systems, or related field of study from an accredited four-year college or university required.\nMinimum of zero to three (0-3) years in accounting/financial reporting and analysis, or related experience, which includes at least three (3) years in planning and executing accounting business processes, financial, operational or business analysis, or related experience required.\nStrong understanding of accounting-related processes and procedures relating to software development and implementation.\nStrong understanding of accounting systems and ancillary/support systems such as commissions tracking/reporting, expenses, and premium accounting.\nWorking knowledge of gathering and analyzing business intelligence in order to make recommendations to improve company results.\nAble to build complex systems using web services standards (WSDL, SOAP and REST).\nDemonstrated ability to work closely with non-technical business owners on a technical solution.\nStrong Web Services development experience (SOAP and REST) with a deep understanding of XSLT, XPath and XML.\nGeneral understanding of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems software such Workday.\nWorking knowledge of SQL to query relational databases like Microsoft SQL Server.\nAdvanced knowledge of Workday report writing, including vast understanding of all data sources and primary business objects required to support integrations.
