You will also be part of a collaborative, engaged, and hard-working team who shares ideas, promotes change and growth, and who is dedicated to providing excellence.\nEssential duties include the following:\nServes as point of contact for employees in addressing HR issues and communicating HR policies, procedures, laws, standards and government regulations.\nReceives and responds to inquiries regarding employee policies and employee relations issues; provides appropriate coaching and counseling.\nProvides problem resolution and conflict management guidance for employees, including policy and procedure review, interpretation, and revision.\nInvestigates employee relations issues, policy violations and other performance issues, and facilitates appropriate disciplinary action.\nBuilds and maintains close working relationship with management and supervisors to identify staffing needs, job specifications, job duties, qualifications, and skills.\nPerforms comprehensive targeted search strategy for qualified candidates via internal databases, job boards, direct sourcing, talent network, schools, professional associations, as well as personal business network.\nScreens, interviews, and assesses candidates to measure capability, aptitude, and ensure their qualifications meet open positions. Negotiates job offers for the most qualified candidate(s).\nAssists with development, implementation and administration of employee morale initiatives including Service Award Programs, Employee Retention, Recognition Programs, and Community Relations Programs.
