You will be working alongside other Project Managers in the Enterprise Portfolio Management Office (EPMO) to complete mid to highly complex initiatives, sharing your talents and experiences not only with them but also impacting all other departments across the entire Financial Institutions Group.\nThis position plans, executes, and finalizes projects according to deadlines and within budgets as well as defines project objectives, acquires resources and coordinates efforts of SWBC team members and third-party contractors/consultants to deliver desired project outcomes. SWBC offers amazing career advancement opportunities, leverages amazing technology and automation and celebrates our success as a team.\nEssential duties include the following:\nDevelops project plans and associated communications, and documents and coordinates with project staff on established tasks, staffing requirements, duty assignments, responsibilities, and scope of authority associated with new projects.\nCollaborates with internal teams and departments to define, refine, and implement their strategic business goals.\nFacilitates cross functional collaboration to ensure the successful delivery of projects, managing dependencies and aligning priorities.\nEstablishes and maintains strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels while effectively communicating project status, risks, and successes.\nMonitors the quality of project work and communicates any issues regarding project plans or project resources with management and project stakeholders.\nIdentifies and responds to potential obstacles or changes in project scope proactively, ensuring course corrections are made in a timely manner.\nAssist the project owner and executive sponsor with identifying potential solutions to overcome obstacles and challenges that could derail their project.\nDevelops project documentation through reviewing project proposals to determining time frame, funding limitations, and procedures for accomplishing projects, staff requirements, and allocation of available resources to various projects and project phases.\nActs as the primary contact responsible for the successful transition to on-going support staff at the end of the implementation project.\nProvides mentorship to less senior project managers and project team members.\nIdentifies and implements project related improvements and drives the adoption of best practices, methodologies, and standards across project management functions.\nSerious candidates will possess the minimum qualifications:\nBachelor’s Degree in Business, Management, Information Technology, Finance or related field.\nProject Management Professional Certification (PMP) or Scrum Master Certification (CSM).\nMinimum four (4) years project management experience.\nExperience with insurance/banking products preferred.\nStrong knowledge of project management to include planning, scheduling, resource allocation, cost analysis, and technological tradeoffs.\nThorough knowledge of the software development life cycle, software quality assurance principles, and implementation.\nStrong analytical and problem solving skills to perform multiple work assignments simultaneously and with minimal oversight.\nExceptional written and verbal interpersonal communication, negotiation, facilitation, and presentation skills.\nExcellent organizational and time management skills to balance team and individual responsibilities.\nExcellent interpersonal and customer service skills to interact with various department personnel.\nEffective abilities in research, collection of information, designing workflows and procedures, analyzing complex or diverse information.\nProficient computer and accurate keyboard skills in utilizing computer applications such as MS Project, Word, and Excel.\nSWBC offers*:\nCompetitive overall compensation package\nWork/Life balance \nEmployee engagement activities and recognition awards \nYears of Service awards\nCareer enhancement and growth opportunities \nLeadership Academy and Mentor Program\nContinuing education and career certifications \nVariety of healthcare coverage options\nTraditional and Roth 401(k) retirement plans \nLucrative Wellness Program\n*Based upon employee eligibility\nAdditional Information:\nSWBC is a Substance-Free Workplace and requires pre-employment drug testing.\nPlease note, SWBC does not hire tobacco users as allowed by law.\nTo learn more about SWBC, visit our website at www.SWBC.com.
