SWBC offers a very dynamic product portfolio, so you will have many opportunities to learn and implement new technologies as we continue our journey into cloud-native development.\nEssential duties include the following:\nBuilds systems to interface with SWBC clientele.\nAutomates processes to improve efficiency.\nBuilds tools to eliminate repetitive tasks.\nParticipates in self-organizing teams working toward a common goal.\nResponds to issues as they arise and partners with the Systems Assurance Group to improve monitoring.\nWorks with business partners to understand requirements and goals.\nPrepares wireframes and mock-ups for proposed designs.\nConducts peer reviews to ensure that development and security standards are enforced.\nGuides and mentors junior and mid-level developers on the team.\nPerforms all other duties as assigned.\nSerious candidates will possess the minimum qualifications:\nBachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or four-year university or equivalent experience required.\nMinimum of five (5) years of experience required, including demonstrated knowledge of OOP and SOLID principles and design patterns; strong background in C#, HTML, JavaScript, XML, and JSON; creating and maintaining relational data models and databases; and troubleshooting with advanced SQL performance issues and write/tune advanced SQL queries.\nKnowledge of C# and efficient in several different programming languages, including Java, ASP .NET, JavaScript/JQuery, TSQL, HTML/CSS, etc.\nKnowledge of relational data models.\nKnowledge of Agile principles with experience in Scrum or Kanban.\nKnowledge of team development tools and source control, i.e. Visual Studio, TFS, CVS, JIRA, GIT, etc.\nKnowledge of one or more JavaScript frameworks, including Angular, Angular2, Vue.js, Knockout, React, polymer, etc.\nDemonstrated willingness and ability to adapt and learn new technologies/processes.\nProficient Microsoft Office skills, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills.\nEffectively diagrams and communicates software and technical concepts clearly to the development team.\nAble to participate in operational support and on-call rotation.\nAble to keep up-to-date on the latest testing methods and technologies to producing high-quality software.\nAble to create and maintain databases, including SQL Server or Oracle databases.\nAble to assist with advanced SQL performance issues and write/tune advanced SQL queries.\nAble to recognize and use OOP and SOLID principles and design patterns.\nAble to use basic office equipment, including copy machine, personal computer, and fax.\nAble to sit for long periods of time performing sedentary activities.\nAble to stand, stoop, and kneel to file for long periods of time.\nAble to push, pull, and lift up to 20 lbs. of files, supplies, documents, or other related items.\nAdditional Information:\nSWBC is a Substance-Free Workplace and requires pre-employment drug testing.\nTo learn more about SWBC, visit our website at www.SWBC.com.
