As a Systems Administrator, you'll have the opportunity to work on impactful technology initiatives, strengthen the reliability and security of our infrastructure, and develop your expertise in an environment that encourages continuous learning and career advancement.\nEssential duties include the following:\nTroubleshoots performance issues, provides Tier II support for reported incidents, drives root cause analysis and successfully solves problems within Windows environment, following change management standards to implement successful solutions.\nEnsures the up-time, health and efficiency of our production server environment, validates monitoring alerts, creates support tickets as required, and executes predefined troubleshooting procedures, provides end-user technical support via telephone and ticketing system, and takes ownership of customer issues to include routing, prioritizing, and troubleshooting to resolution.\nConfigures and administers Windows systems using Nutanix and VMware vSphere adhering to System Engineering standards. Provides Tier II support to include, but not limited to, server hardware, Web services, Active Directory, DNS, and Exchange; creates AD groups & users and understands user permissions, and performs routine maintenance such as Windows Updates, server reboots, and backups.\nDocuments system information and trains NOC, Service Desk and other Tier I personnel on optimal return to service and troubleshooting procedures.\nPerforms other duties as required, and participates in on-call rotation duties after-hours.\nSerious candidates will possess the minimum qualifications:\nAssociate's Degree in Business Technology, Management Information Systems, or related field of study from an accredited college or university or equivalent experience required.\nBachelor's Degree preferred.\nMinimum of two (2) years of experience in Windows Systems Administration.\nStrong hardware and software troubleshooting skills.\nWorking knowledge of Windows server administration.\nExperience with enterprise monitoring solutions such as SolarWinds Orion preferred.\nExperience and working knowledge of infrastructure management software such as Nutanix, Nutanix Files and VMware vSphere are preferred.\nExperience with PKI/SSL Certificate Administration preferred.\nExperience and working knowledge of server administration such as Microsoft Windows Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, IIS, Windows updates, and backups is preferred.\nGeneral understanding of IT network and security procedures and standards.\nStrong analytical and problem solving skills.\nExceptional communication and interpersonal skills in order to effectively communicate with a wide range of personnel.\nProficient in MS Office desktop applications including MS Word and Excel.\nMicrosoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA) or Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE) preferred, A+ or Network+ preferred.\nAble to lift and/or push up to 10-20 lbs. of electronic/communicationsequipment or other documents.\nAble to stoop, kneel, and stand to access server equipment.\nAble to sit for long periods of time.\nAble to travel locally.\nSWBC offers*:\nCompetitive overall compensation package\nWork/Life balance \nEmployee engagement activities and recognition awards \nYears of Service awards\nCareer enhancement and growth opportunities \nLeadership Academy and Mentor Program\nContinuing education and career certifications \nVariety of healthcare coverage options\nTraditional and Roth 401(k) retirement plans \nLucrative Wellness Program\n*Based upon employee eligibility\nAdditional Information:\nSWBC is a Substance-Free Workplace and requires pre-employment drug testing.\nPlease note, SWBC does not hire tobacco users as allowed by law.\nTo learn more about SWBC, visit our website at www.SWBC.com.
