We specialize in civil engineering, design and build projects, demolition, landscaping, and more, with multiple ISO certifications and industry awards.\nJob Summary\nThe Senior Planner is responsible for the planning and management of complex construction projects, ensuring that all activities are properly sequenced, resourced, and executed in line with contractual specifications. This role is critical in maintaining the Contractor’s Programme and project management procedures, identifying risks and opportunities, and supporting successful project delivery.\nResponsibilities\nDevelop, manage, and update the Contractor’s Programme using Primavera P6 software.\n\nPlan and sequence construction activities, including:\nConstruction site staging\n\nUtilisation planning\n\nProcurement scheduling\n\nConstruction contract interface management\n\nMonitor progress against baseline schedules and report variances.\n\nIdentify risks and opportunities in project execution and propose mitigation strategies.\n\nEnsure compliance with project specifications, statutory requirements, and company procedures.\n\nCollaborate with site-based construction management teams to align planning with execution.\n\nMaintain accurate records of planning deliverables and ensure timely updates to project stakeholders.\n\nSupport project managers and supervisors in resource allocation and temporary works planning.\n\nPreferred competencies and qualifications\nBachelor’s degree in civil engineering, Construction Management, or related discipline.\n\nMinimum 5 years of experience in the construction industry, preferably within a site-based construction management team.\n\nProven expertise in Primavera P6 project planning and scheduling.\n\nStrong knowledge of construction sequencing, staging, and utilisation planning.\n\nExperience in procurement planning and contract interface management.\n\nAbility to identify risks/opportunities and implement corrective actions.\n\nExcellent communication and coordination skills with multidisciplinary teams.\n\nStrong analytical and problem-solving abilities.\n\nOther
