Education

University degree in Computer Science, electronic engineering or equivalent. Post-graduate in Marketing / MBA or equivalent is an asset

As part of the Business Applications Services (BAS) Tribe in Kuala Lumpur, our mission is to deliver and continuously enhance Ordering, Billing, Finance, and Provisioning services while evolving our on-premises and cloud technology stack. Several years into this transformation journey, we are advancing the consolidation and modernization of our technology landscape and seeking an experienced SAP BW/4HANA & BPC Analyst to lead implementation activities focused on reporting, planning and advanced analytics, mainly within the Billing & Finance domain.

If you are a hands-on, versatile SAP BW/4HANA & BPC Analyst with a passion for Back-office solutions, and thrive in a cross-cultural, agile environment, you might be the person we are looking for. With this ever-evolving landscape in mind, possessing skills in the SAP Business Data Cloud suite, more specifically Sap Analytics Cloud and Datasphere are an additional asset.

Part of a transversal Business & Functional Analysis Chapter, you will report to a Chapter Lead and work closely with Product Owners and stakeholders within the Finance and IT departments. In your day-to-day activities, you will be part of a squad working according to the agile principles to deliver and maintain reporting and planning solutions for our internal customers. You’ll be in the front seat from requirements gathering, over implementation, up to testing and finally the delivery of these applications in alignment with our delivery roadmap.

Key Responsibilities

01 . Lead and plan the definition, analysis, validation and maintenance of functional requirements for large size/complexity/system risk projects by working in close liaison with customers and other divisions and in line with evolving business requirements

02 . Validate proposed solutions to technical and/or business problems in relation to current and future business environment, reconciling business requirements with technical solutions.

03 . Provide highly technical or relevant business knowledge during all phases of the development and resolve unique and complex business problems, recognising technical constraints.

04 . Produce and maintain conceptual models ( data and functional) in accordance with the adopted methodology.

05 . Conduct presentations on system enhancements and/or alternatives. Approve and conduct training session on system solutions.

06 . Understand technological trends in own area of responsibility and apply this knowledge to bring solutions to the customers.

07 . Lead and plan the business process redesign and documentation as needed for new technology, specifically within the areas SAP BW/BPC.

08 . Interface with application software development and other users as appropriate to explain solutions.

09 . May in line with established procedures, organize, co-ordinate and control the recurring output of one or several teams of specialists in the area. May be consulted on people- and department management issues. Assist less senior team members in resolving problems.

10 . May support business users on deployed/live systems.
