This role is critical in ensuring the quality and efficiency of our software products through comprehensive test automation strategies.\nThis is a HYBRID role that required two days a week onsite in Tysons, VA.\nJob Responsibilities\nLead the design, development, and implementation of scalable and maintainable test automation frameworks using Robot Framework and Selenium.\nDevelop, execute, and maintain automated test cases for complex applications, ensuring comprehensive test coverage.\nCollaborate with development and product teams to integrate automation into the CI/CD pipeline.\nDesign and execute test plans, analyze test results, and provide detailed reports on application quality.\nUtilize Apigee API for testing and automating API functionalities.\nManage and maintain test automation code repositories using Git.\nPerform data validation and manipulation using Structured Query Language (SQL) for various testing scenarios.\nMentor junior automation engineers and contribute to best practices in test automation.\nIdentify and implement new automation technologies and tools to improve efficiency and effectiveness.\nParticipate in all phases of the software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering to deployment.\nJob Qualifications\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.\nMinimum of 5-7 years of experience in test automation and software quality assurance.\nProven expertise in designing and implementing automation frameworks using Robot Framework and Selenium.\nStrong proficiency in scripting languages relevant to test automation (e.g., Python).\nIn-depth knowledge and experience with Apigee API for API testing and automation.\nSolid understanding and practical experience with Git for version control.\nAdvanced skills in Structured Query Language (SQL) for database testing and data validation.\nDemonstrated experience in Test Case Design, Test Execution, and developing comprehensive Test Plans.\nExcellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.\nStrong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.\nExperience with other Automation Technology tools and concepts is a plus.\nThe estimated salary range for a new hire into this position in Virginia is $101,303 MINIMUM to $188,135 MAXIMUM. Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location.
