About the Team & Role
The Driver Assignment team works on optimizing the customer order and driver assignment logic for swiggy food platform and journey to reduce delivery time & cost thereby enhancing customer experience.The PM2 shall provide strategic direction and product leadership to the overall efforts.
What will you get to do here?
Establish & own short term and long term vision for the Driver Assignment team at Swiggy while strategizing, planning and influencing to deliver on the planned roadmap.
Own end-to-end delivery of platform features for the assignment product, from problem definition through design, implementation and rollout.
Be able to build assignment products at scale for 600+ cities.
Driver Assignment being a complex DS product,
Partnering with business, operations, product, supply and Analytics and Data science teams to deliver on the roadmap while unlocking long term value for our customers and internal stakeholders.
Collaborate with product teams across the org to ideate and find win-win-win solutions on common objectives’ across multiple categories and product lines impacted like Toing, Bolt, Swiggy Food
What qualities are we looking for?
Minimum 4 years of work experience in Product Management with extensive experience in consumer backward thinking, analytical thinking and building non-functional products in the eCommerce or marketplace industry.
Experience in building products that aim at speed, cost and delivery optimization is highly preferred.
Proven track record of building and shipping high-quality data products in large internet companies impacting millions of users.
You are consumer obsessed, but you can walk a tightrope balancing consumer delight with potentially orthogonal org goals.
Well versed with running different types of A/B experiments & is considered an expert in analyzing data, showcasing a deep understanding of the 360-degree network interaction effects and potential long-term impacts, can cull out the unknowns and hedge against them.
Ability to work with and guide a high performing team of data science, analytics, engineering, technology, and business folks.
You have demonstrated experience in working across multiple products, various stakeholders and exerted a high degree of influence across several teams/functions leading to successful outcomes.
Excellent problem solving, critical thinking, and communication skills. You thrive in managing a charter with big impact & multiple intersections in a large org
