at Swiggy and in this role, an individual is solely responsible for setting up and implementation of test automation strategy from Functional and Non-functional perspective for one module or multiple modules (majorly comprising of web app, mobile web, embedded web views)\nWhat qualities are we looking for?\nMust be an Independent executioner and has prior experience of handling complex projects with stakeholders.\n\nMust have prior experience with visual regression, accessibility, performance testing, CI/CD integration (GitHub Actions/Jenkins), flaky-test management, component testing.\n\nGood to have prior experience with TypeScript/E2E frameworks (Playwright/Cypress).\n\nMust have prior experience in creating optimal test strategy (Including Functional, Non-Functional, Analytics and automation) and test plans for short term and long-term projects.\n\nMust be strong in verbal and written communication.\n\nVery good design skills.\n\nMust have understanding of mobile app and web automation experience (Appium/ selenium/typescript)\n\nMust have understanding and implementation level experience on design patterns.\n\nMust have prior experience in creating test automation frameworks and self-serve tools.\n\nMust have prior automation experience for Rest based web services using Java\n\nMust have strong hands-on experience on functional and non-functional automation both for Web, Rest services.\n\nMust be strong in writing complex SQL queries using joins.\n\nMust have hands-on experience on designing database schemas for self-serve utilities.\n\nWhat will you get to do here?\nIn this role, you are also responsible for finding innovative ways to optimize the test strategy for maximizing ROI from areas that are undertaken for automation.\n\nSr SDET is also responsible for the addition of new capabilities and features in the automation framework which is used by the entire QA team for test automation.\n\nYou are also responsible for managing and maintaining test coverage through periodic reports to engineering and stakeholders.\n\nSr SDET is an expert role and demands a complete hands-on contribution on Single or multiple projects simultaneously.\n\nMust have prior experience in creating optimal test strategy (Including Functional, Non-Functional, Analytics and automation) and test plans for short term and long-term projects
