In Brazil, our business includes three legal entities, including a Payment Institution authorized and regulated by the Brazilian Central Bank.\nAbout the position\nWe are looking for a Compliance Specialist to join our Legal, Compliance, Risk and Internal Controls team in Brazil.\nIn this role, you will help shape how our products, policies and business activities operate from a Brazilian Compliance and regulatory perspective. You will work closely with local and global teams to identify scenarios and risks, supporting the business without creating unnecessary friction.\nThis is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys contributing to new projects, strengthen our Compliance framework in Brazil and work closely with the Central Compliance team in France.\nLocation of the position: São Paulo - SP. In general, you will be asked to go to the office 3 times per week.\nMinimum requirements:\nYour main responsibilities:\nProvide Compliance guidance on existing and new products, processes and business initiatives in Brazil.\nAssess whether our products, procedures and operations comply with applicable Brazilian Central Bank regulations and relevant market practices.\nDesign, review and implement Compliance policies, procedures and controls.\nSupport the development and execution of controls related to KYC and KYB, third-party due diligence, PEP screening, transaction monitoring, AML and counter-terrorist financing requirements, gifts and business courtesies, conflicts of interest, and other relevant Compliance topics.\nPartner with Product, Innovation, Finance, Risk, Internal Controls, Legal and other teams to provide clear and practical regulatory guidance.\nWork with the Central Compliance team in France to align local practices with global standards and policies.\nPrepare and deliver internal training on topics such as the Code of Conduct, AML and other Compliance requirements.\nPrepare and submit regulatory reports to the Brazilian Central Bank.\nSupport regulatory inspections and supervision activities.\nCoordinate responses to specific requests and questions from the Brazilian Central Bank.\nHelp build a culture of Compliance across Swile in Brazil.\nWhat we are looking for\nAt least 7 years of professional experience in Compliance within entities regulated by the Brazilian Central Bank.\nSolid knowledge of Brazilian financial regulation and Compliance practices.\nExperience working with AML, KYC, KYB, transaction monitoring and regulatory reporting.\nExperience in a Payment Institution, financial institution, fintech or similar regulated environment.\nAdvanced or fluent English, with the ability to work regularly with international teams.\nA degree in Law, Business Administration, Economics or a related field.\nStrong communication and stakeholder management skills.\nExcellent organization and attention to detail.\nA proactive, pragmatic and solutions-oriented mindset.\nThe ability to manage projects and priorities in a fast-changing environment.\nA collaborative approach and the confidence to work with teams at different levels of the organization.\nIt would be a plus if you have\nExperience with credit card operations or payment products.\nExperience working in a multinational company.\nWhy this role matters\nAt Swile, Compliance is not limited to reviewing documents or identifying issues after the fact.
