At Swingtech, we’re committed to excellence and long-term success for our clients and our team.\nPosition Summary\nThe Financial Analyst will perform financial, credit, statistical, and portfolio-risk analyses supporting SBA’s oversight of participating 7(a) lenders. The analyst will evaluate lender performance, delegated-authority eligibility, financial condition, regulatory developments, and emerging risks and will develop technically accurate workpapers, reports, and recommendations.\nKey Responsibilities\nPerform financial and statistical analyses of SBA lender performance.\nSupport delegated-authority renewals, nominations, add-ons, and re-delegations.\nPlan, coordinate, and conduct Desktop Reviews and related risk assessments.\nEvaluate lender eligibility and continuing qualification for delegated authority.\nAnalyze lender financial statements, portfolio performance, credit quality, capital, liquidity, asset quality, reserves, concentrations, and emerging risks.\nDevelop analytical workpapers, reports, memoranda, charts, and briefings.\nIdentify operational weaknesses and recommend policy, procedure, control, or risk-mitigation improvements.\nEvaluate 7(a) lender portfolios and emerging risks to SBA’s loan portfolio.\nMonitor lender renewals, review results, corrective actions, and required follow-up.\nAssess public enforcement actions and supervisory findings issued by federal and state regulators.\nReview mergers and acquisitions for potential SBA guaranty-transfer implications.\nReview the work of other contractor personnel for quality, completeness, accuracy, and regulatory compliance.\nCoordinate monthly, quarterly, and annual analytical deliverables with the On-Site Supervisor.\nProvide technical guidance to internal and external stakeholders on lender-risk, policy, and procedural matters.\nProtect confidential lender, borrower, and Government information.\nMinimum Qualifications\nBachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, business administration, or a closely related field.\nFor a developing Financial Analyst: approximately one to two years of specialized financial, credit, portfolio, banking, regulatory, Government, or financial-services experience.\nFor a senior Financial Analyst: three or more years of progressively responsible experience conducting complex financial-risk, credit, portfolio, or lender-oversight analysis.\nExperience evaluating financial condition, creditworthiness, repayment capacity, portfolio performance, or regulatory compliance.\nExperience preparing analytical workpapers, reports, memoranda, and briefing materials.\nStrong knowledge of financial-statement analysis, credit risk, commercial lending, and portfolio-risk principles.\nAdvanced Excel and data-analysis skills.\nStrong written and verbal communication skills.\nAbility to work independently on complex assignments with minimal supervision.\nPreferred Qualifications\nMaster’s degree in finance, economics, accounting, business administration, or a related discipline.\nCFA, FRM, CPA, or comparable professional certification.\nExperience with the SBA 7(a) or 504 Loan Programs.\nExperience with Government-guaranteed lending or delegated-lender programs.\nExperience with SBA OCRM, delegated authority, Desktop Reviews, CAFS, or the SBA Lender Portal.\nExperience reviewing commercial or small-business loan
