This may involve research, understanding implicit/explicit expectations from the clients, aligning with the organisation's vision & goals and R& D to support the product development. Execution of the product roadmap, keeping track of and amending the development plan to respond to ongoing changes, is an important aspect of managing the roadmap.\nDriving product excellence: You will ensure that the product is benchmarked as one of the top 3 globally, delivered on time, and within budget. You will be accountable for setting clear expectations, managing risks, and resolving roadblocks.\nLeading and motivating a team of talented engineers: You will build a strong and cohesive engineering team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning. You will be a coach and mentor, providing guidance and support to help your team members reach their full potential.\nEstablishing and maintaining best practices: You will define and implement best practices for software development, including coding standards, code reviews, and testing procedures. You will be responsible for ensuring the team adheres to these practices.\nTechnical Expertise: You will possess great technical skills and a strong understanding of software development principles. You will be able to stay up-to-date on the latest technologies and trends. You will be able to scale horizontally on various tools and technologies depending upon business requirements.\nPlatform Stability and Scalability: You will be responsible for stabilising our development process, ensuring on-time customer deliveries, and scaling our platform to accommodate our growing B2B user base, new features, and third-party integrations.\nAgile Mindset: You will be an advocate for agile methodologies and work closely with other departments to ensure a smooth and efficient development process.\nHands-on Leadership: You will be a leader who is not afraid to get their hands dirty. When required, you should be able to also be an individual contributor (especially in tech, thought leadership on product engineering, technology scalability).\nReduced Attrition: You will foster a positive and supportive work environment that motivates and retains top talent.\n\nRequirements: \nExperience in software product development in a leading product-focused company or significant experience in a leading _ reputed IT services company at technology leadership level is a must.\nExperience in a software engineering leadership role - 15-20 years of experience including roles of Tech Arch with execution responsibilities and/or VP Engineering.\nProven track record of building and leading high-performing engineering teams.\nExperience in a product company through its journey to raise Series A/B funding.\nEducation: B. E/B.
