You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate complex requirements into clear specifications that guide our development process.\nKey Responsibilities\nAnalyze and clarify business requirements and translate them into functional and technical specifications including business architecture, process maps, wireframes and data models \nEnsure comprehensive specification of User Stories with all required data and background analysis available to the entire team \nDesign and define related test cases and support the Product Owner in creating effective acceptance criteria \nCollaborate cross-functionally with Platform Product Owners, Technology Leads, Business Process Managers, Business Architecture and the Data Office to maintain end-to-end consistency of system, process and information architecture \nAnticipate and analyze customer needs to develop effective problem-solving solutions \nOrganize and prioritize the Product Backlog based on Product Owner guidance \nOwn production support for one or more business applications, addressing user requests directly or triaging more complex cases to the development team \nCreate and maintain comprehensive project documentation on the corporate Wiki \nAbout the Team\nOur team is responsible for building products and solutions for the Corporate Solutions business unit. You have excellent analytical skills and can effectively translate between business and technical domains. You're proactive, customer-focused, and committed to delivering high-quality solutions that drive business value.\nWe need you to bring in the following must haves: \n5+ years of experience as a Requirements Engineer or in similar roles \nExcellent stakeholder management, communication, and presentation skills \nStrong grasp of Agile methodologies and experience working in cross-functional product teams \nProficiency in tools like Jira or similar Agile management platforms like Azure DevOps \nProficient in Visio or other process mapping tools, with good knowledge of BPMN \nThese are additional nice to haves: \nExperience with Commercial Insurance products and processes \nKnowledge of insurance industry standards and regulations \nExperience with data modeling and database concepts \nFamiliarity with API design principles \nBackground in software development or technical implementation \nAbout Swiss Re\nSwiss Re is one of the world’s leading providers of reinsurance, insurance and other forms of insurance-based risk transfer, working to make the world more resilient.
