This includes building AI-enabled solutions, integrating AI capabilities into existing platforms, and using AI-driven workflows throughout the software development lifecycle to improve engineering productivity and quality.\nKey Responsibilities\nDevelop business features and AI-enabled solutions that will be used by large user communities and generate measurable business value\nDesign and integrate AI capabilities into enterprise applications, combining modern AI platforms with established Java-based systems\nApply AI-driven engineering workflows across the SDLC, using AI-assisted development, testing, code review, documentation, and other engineering practices to improve productivity and quality \nReview and approve pull requests and enforce consistency, maintainability, security, and quality standards across the codebase\nCollaborate effectively within cross-functional teams including requirements engineers, QA specialists, product owners, and other application engineers \nCreate architecture diagrams and technical designs that guide implementation and contribute to technology and architecture decisions \nIntegrate services and shared platforms including messaging systems, BPMN workflows, logging frameworks, telemetry solutions, and AI platforms \nStay current with emerging technologies and Generative AI developments, actively experimenting with new approaches and translating relevant innovations into practical engineering solutions\nAbout the Team\nWe are a team that believes in engineering excellence and that our leaders should also be engineers themselves. You actively use modern AI tools to improve how you work and understand that effective AI-assisted development requires strong engineering judgment, architecture principles, and quality standards.\nYou believe in continuous learning-whether through self-improvement, experimentation, or absorbing knowledge from those around you-and you're excited to contribute to a team that values technical excellence and innovation.\nWe are looking for candidates who meet these requirements:\nExpert knowledge of Java and Spring Boot, with proven experience across the entire software delivery lifecycle \nHands-on experience building or integrating AI-enabled solutions into applications and enterprise systems \nPractical experience using AI-driven development workflows and tools across the SDLC \nExperience with Microsoft Foundry or Palantir Foundry for developing, integrating, or operating AI solutions \nPrevious public cloud experience, particularly with Microsoft Azure \nComfort and proficiency working with large and established codebases \nThese are additional nice to haves:\nExperience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices \nKnowledge of containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes \nFamiliarity with insurance domain concepts and business processes \nExperience mentoring junior developers and contributing to team growth \nFor Slovakia the base salary range for this position is between 3 800 EUR and 6 300 EUR] per month (for a full-time role).
