Our software engineers create and maintain the automated trading platform, which covers data ingestion, strategy generation, order execution, and portfolio management.\nAs a Senior Platform Engineer, you will improve, maintain and operate the platform underpinning our algorithmic trading system in Google Cloud Platform (GCP), consisting of execution clusters, network architecture, identity and access management, infrastructure and application security, CI/CD, observability, and more.\nYour Role\nWe are looking for a highly skilled Senior Platform Engineer with experience in deploying scalable enterprise-grade applications in a GCP / Kubernetes environment. You will work with strategic partners such as quant engineers, data scientists, and quant researchers.\nTogether with your team, you will design and implement system architecture, apply SRE and DevOps best practices, perform infrastructure migration, capacity planning and security audits, and enhance automation, resource scaling, cost optimization, monitoring, and troubleshooting.\nYou will also drive AI-powered automation and introduce AI-assisted workflows and practices across the team. Most importantly, you will ensure continuous availability and reliability.\nKey Responsibilities\nDrive in-depth analysis of architecture, design and implementation of our system\nMaintain and enhance the existing infrastructure\nConduct architecture reviews, support vulnerability and incident response\nDrive and track progress of infrastructure changes from concept to production\nPerform workload and complexity assessments\nRun security audits\nInfluence the technical direction of new services and initiatives\nWork with engineers to define and uphold our concepts, SRE, and DevOps best practices\nEvaluate and roll out AI-assisted tooling for the engineering team\nMinimum Qualifications\nAt least 5 years of working experience with operating production infrastructure\nDeep knowledge and experience in GCP and Kubernetes at administrator level\nObservability administration knowledge (Prometheus, Grafana, Loki)\nInfrastructure as code experience in a CI/CD DevOps environment (Terraform, GCP Config Connector, Argo projects)\nUnix, Linux, shell scripting, and networking experience\nSolid working knowledge of infrastructure security, including secret and encryption management\nStrong interest in AI methodology and automation\nProactive automation mindset, with a drive to remove repetitive work\nExcellent written and verbal communication in English\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proactive attitude\nStrong sense for quality, reliability, and genuine curiosity to learn new things\nPreferred Qualifications\nHands-on experience applying AI-assisted workflows and automation in engineering or operations\nDeep understanding and experience in infrastructure and application security, including keystore management\nDevelopment know-how to support software engineers (Go, Python, REST APIs)\nRelational, NoSQL, and time series databases hands-on skills (PostgreSQL, MongoDB, ClickHouse)\nMiddleware administration knowledge
