An established international logistics and freight forwarding organisation is seeking a commercially driven Business Development Manager to join its Johannesburg team.\nDuties & Responsibilities\nThis is an excellent opportunity for a mid-level sales professional with 3–5 years of experience in clearing and forwarding to grow their career within an international business environment. \n\nThe successful candidate will focus on securing new business, expanding the client portfolio and developing long-term relationships to drive sustainable revenue growth.\n\nDuties:\n\nIdentify, prospect and secure new business opportunities within the clearing and forwarding industry.\n\nDevelop and maintain strong relationships with prospective and existing clients.\n\nDrive revenue growth by promoting freight forwarding, clearing and logistics solutions tailored to client requirements.\n\nAchieve agreed sales targets and maintain a healthy pipeline of new business opportunities.\n\nPrepare and present proposals, negotiate commercial terms and close new business.\n\nResearch market trends and identify opportunities to expand the company's customer base.\n\nCollaborate with internal operational teams to ensure effective service delivery and client satisfaction.\n\nMaintain accurate sales forecasts, pipeline reports and client records.\n\nRequirements:\n\nMinimum 3-5 years of sales or business development experience within the clearing and forwarding industry (non-negotiable).\n\nA proven ability to generate new business and meet sales targets.\n\nA valid driver's licence and own reliable transport.\n\nPackage & Remuneration\nR55,000.00 -
